It's another choose my next car thread. I'm torn between a 2025 Mazda 3 (select or preferred) and a 2025 Honda Civic (or Civic Hybrid) Sport. Here are some things about my situation:

>I drive roughly 12K mi/y
>I live in Ohio (so I get fucked with a $100 hybrid registration upcharge)
>I have very good/excellent credit
>I will need to finance roughly 50-66%
>Mazda has 0-1% APR available while Honda will be ~6%
>I don't care too much about 0-60/performance

Mazda3
>proven 2.5L engine
>traditional auto
>0% interest
Civic
>oil burning 1.5L engine
>CVT
>hybrid
>6% interest

It’s a no brainer really

Mazda3 na 2.5 is what id go with
Do you need to use the backseats? The mazda is horrible for that. So keep that in mind.

>Mazda has 0-1% APR
All that needs to be said.

Mazda 3 Select: $26,000 +1% APR= 26,260

Honda Civic Hybrid Sport: 29,000 +6% APR= 31,740

50 more horsepower means less effort required when passing and merging, plus less drone from CVT which are also more prone to breaking.

Thanks for the advice. That's where I was kind of leaning too, but my family and I are Honda fanboys (past in my case, only lean towards them now) so switching might be a shock at first. I also kind of wanted a hybrid but again, fuck Ohio so much.

As for rear space, I get no bitches and am therefore even further away from throwing kids into the mix.

The Mazda is better just due to the lower cost and interest rates, however the Honda would be more spacious and comfy inside but that's it really (also i wouldn't get anything with one of their turbos in it so don't choose that engine option if you're going with the Honda)

There's a manual option for both these vehicles in a cheap trim PLEASE get some testosterone flowing in your balls and maybe usable backseat space will be a criteria for your next car purchase

the sedan is ok for that

>muh manuel transmission
If you think getting laid depends on the kind of gearbox your car has, you might as well invest in a sex doll too.
