How do I stop buying more and more project vehicles? I know it's starting to become a problem, I have 6 cars and 6 motorcycles in my yard, only 1 of either really works or is roadworthy, I spend a ton of money in all of them thinking "eventually they're going to be fixed".
Worst part is all the cars and bikes I keep buying are basically scrap destined for the junkyard that I breathe a bit of life back into, only for them to immediately break down again and spend the rest of the year in the shop being fixed.
It's an endless cycle and the worst part is I don't want to get rid of any of them, I just keep buying more and more thinking this is an once in a lifetime chance and it only costs 500 bucks.
Fuck I need to start extending my garage because I don't want to keep the junkers out in the elements.

Focus on breathing life into a single project or you are destined to live in a singlewide trailer with 30 rusted out cars sitting on blocks in your yard

That's what I'm trying to do, but the backlog keeps growing as I find yet another 500 buck junker to add on my yard.

yours? or a mechanic? if it’s the latter, go play in traffic.
keep spending all your cash until you’re completely broke and are forced to do something about it. maybe you’ll prioritize the more responsible things then.

My own workshop, I took a mortgage for a house with a garage and a workshop on the yard.

Try selling a car in current year using current methods (facebook marketplace).
Then, every time you want to buy another car, think about how you'll have to sell it eventually, and then remember the absolutely awful experience you had selling a car on marketplace. It will turn you off ever wanting to buy a car again.

I'm down to 5 cars from 8, with another going shortly (all <$2k shitboxes), and have also sold my parents good cars for them when they bought new ones (10 year old Toyotas).
I absolutely abhor selling shit now, after dealing with the absolute fucking dregs of society/time wasters/no shows/retards on marketplace, and the non stop fucking PAJEETS for the Toyotas.
I never want to buy another fucking car again because I KNOW the SHIT I'll have to endure when I want to get rid of it.
I fucking hate selling anything these days (not car related, just random shit in general), before I'd be nickel and diming everything to make like $10, but now I either just throw it out or donate it because I don't want to deal with this shit to make $10.

I don't have Facebook, never did.
Also easy solution, I just wont sell my cars, problem solved
