Unfortunately if you want a meme bike, you need to pay the meme bike tax.You can buy a brand new CB125F for $3687 btw, or a second-hand CB125e for half of that. They're good, solid bikes that are really hard to find any fault in. And while I've never ridden a CT125, it's night and day between a CT110 and a CB125.You also need to consider why you actually need this bike and what you want out of it. I've unfortunately spent a lot of time travelling to Canberra, and honestly a 125 is a tiny bit marginal for it. It's laid out like an American shithole, so you're going to be spending a fair bit of time at speeds that are completely doable on a 125 but might not be super comfortable. So while I wouldn't discount 125s (or scooters) I'd also have a look at some bigger bikes. And just for the record every single person in your stupid little town is a horrible waste of space, probably you included.

Not to say I don't like the bike, it handles fine and being able to flat foot it is nice. But otd for a honda 500 engine bike at 10k vs 8~9 is a big difference especially when the benefit is just more weight lower top speed, higher rider height and a windshield, which is why the nx isn't an option. The cbx is an option just not the nx because thats like burning $500~1000. All I wanted was just something slightly sportier than a rebel 300. I need to move to something that can get past 85mph consistently so I know I can merge with traffic safely.
