Xiaomi Auto has set a new record. For the first time in history, an automotive company has shipped 100,000 cars in 230 days (since its inception). For comparison, Tesla took 12 years to reach this milestone. On November 13, the woman in the photo received the 100,000th sedan. Lin Shiwei, Xiaomi's CFO, stated that the company's financial reserves amount to a whopping $21 billion. Last month, the company delivered 20,726 cars, which turned out to be:- 5 times more than Tesla Model 3- 3 times more than Zeekr 001- and more than the combined sales of BMW 3 and 5 Series.Xiaomi proudly claims that they have a very high rate of car orders immediately after test drives. Sales, which were expected to decline after the initial hype, are actually growing. In the automotive world, this happens for only two reasons:- The company starts offering discounts (not the case here, there are no discounts)- Positive word-of-mouth from satisfied owners.Soon, they will roll out a fast crossover (hybrid/electric).

>>28118407the point just flew over your head
>>28118407Flooding markets with disposable pods =/= national improvement. It's obvious that you're part of the everyone get a trophy gen. Success that's not merit based is irrelevant.
>>28118416your own logic is that the "market" is the ultimate barometer of success.
Make a V8. Oh, that's right, you can't. EVs are literally the easiest pieces of shits ever to make, whereas chink ICE literally fall apart after 1 year
>>28118371We're tariffing your crap because you're dumping your subsidized garbage on our markets. There's also the the security aspect of it over the fact that they're malware on 4 wheels. The Americans get this, the eurocucks not so much.

>>28118379>"all of their cars are better than ours"Not that hard when it's Ford.
I'm curious how much of the funding for Chinese electric cars comes from the "China 2025" initiative to transition the entire country into a tech company. I know they're a very opaque country but do we know how profitable they are?
