People who hit deer are simply driving recklessly or not paying attention. The only time i'll feel bad for someone is if it happens on a road with thick forest right up to the shoulder and even then you should have not been going as fast in that case. People who hit deer on giant open roadways like interstates are actually the dumbest mother fuckers.

My friend went hunting 3 times, never got a shot off, spend hundreds on the trip and kill licence.
After his last failed hunting trip, he hit a deer. He dressed it on the side of the road and took it home.
Paid his $500 deductible to fix his car.
