You can start with your choice of turbocharged AWD/RWD cars that'll make big power easy, or you can take the more difficult (fun) route of starting with something n/a and FWD instead. I like starting with the Honda hatchbacks and playing as if you're some Kanjo racer, for instance, even though it makes the game somewhat more difficult than choosing some "meta" car that you can keep for 80% of the game

>>28181879night 1 best engine is in fact the v6 camaro that roams somewhere near the hospital (i dont recall specifics and my cheatsheet is back at home) i do not remember if a pajero v6 appears at n1/2 but its so big that it will be noticeable in the overworld view. short gears though so none of the light chassises will work with it (need more final drive)the beetle chassis is not at all great, while it is light, its only got 1 slot and super skinny tires (and bad final drive ratio).. the first MR chassis is the AW11 and that is average..AE86 chassis is very flexible and light and unlocks many slots as you play with it.some of the FF chassis are also very good at starter tier because the game doesnt simulate the shitty wheel skidding that FF has at high power. but the steering definitely takes some time to get used to. you should be able to cheese the races. you should not worry about engines much once you unlock the "suicide" turbo, then go to parts store and get low comp pistons.at night 3 you get some better parts going around the town but will not have time to scavenge any of that or you will miss out on the 3 timed events which unlock you unique items iirc.the waggo660 chassis (AWD ONLY)*) is not a horrible choice since its low final drive enable you to actually accelerate with low power but its nothing long term. i dont remember when rotards appear but theyre difficult to make power out of until you unlock low comp doritoes
