hey allwonder why I haven't seen /CTG/ for a while here. Miss seeing those gorgeous celica RA65s and that mk2 supra. Been working on a classic Toyota for a while so I figure we should bring it back, a JDM AE95. Check out these LED dash cluster bulbs. brilliant!Anyone else working on a rusty 80s/90s Yota?
>/ctg/no way. welcome back
>>28184209sup
Classic Toyotas are no more, we 2000s Toyotas now.
>>28184166goddamn. sold my cressida and missing the manual swap...fml there's another red one near me, carbon copy clone. of course it shows up when i try a different car
>>28184241>goddamnas in it's been a while...an of course i don't have my cressy anymore to post to this generalon a random note, i do have a manual pedal and bracket for a jzx90 if anyone wants one lol.
I've been collecting parts for my 1uz swap for my 4runner.>r150 transmission>1uz with the thick rods>bellhousing, flywheel, and clutch from Thailand>stand alone ecuI'm stoked. also picked up a cobra supercharger for it and a WIY long travel kit. I don't think I'm going to run the supercharger on the first iteration.
>>28184224early 2000s Toyotas are still classics in my book anon>>28184241let's see some picsI really want a Cressida, but I think if I ever had the money, I'd have to put it into an RA65 Celica instead. If I got a Cressida, I'd want to do a 7MGTE swap.vstwj
>>28184905old pic of it
>>28185086i think if i got another one i'd want it to already have a 1uz in it. i can do the manual conversion myself, would do it all over again for sure, the manual was way too fun.i really do want a uzs131 crown though. but it has a foot parking brake, and the assembly takes up the space where the clutch pedal sits. i'd also have to find the center console from a factory manual crown as well...so unless there's any nips here that know of any junkyards in japan that just so happen to have those bits, yeah RIP to that.
>>28185093>>28185086that thing was sweet. why did you get rid of it? it was just a manual swapped 5mge right? The wide cluster dash is really reminiscent of my ae95s. Just talked to an Australian ae95s collector yesterday to order a RHD dash mat (my dash is cracked beyond repair) and he told me the extra wide clusters are worth like $200-300 (and up to $1000 for LHD ones). Had no idea.
>>28185093>1uzthat's probably sensible. I like the idea of a 7mgte because it's a similar block to the 5mge and it's so much cheaper than 1jz or 2jz. I bet the right engine builder could make a 7mgte set up that would rival a lower end 1jz.If I was ever to swap the engine in this, I think I'd do a 7afe swap. that is the recommended swap in terms of bang for your buck for these, of course without expecting it to become a racecar. I have also seen some really nice 7afte or 7agte builds. A blacktop 4age would also be really nice, but I think it would be overkill for this beater. One day I might just order an ae111g (next gen sprinter Carib with a blacktop 4age from factory). I think the coolest cheap-ish build would be a 7afe block with low comp pistons, a 4age head, and a small turbo. that is the dream.
>>281853487mge, but yeah, every major thing was practically bone stock otherwise. fixed up the head gasket, replaced all shocks, got some seriously great brake pads (never faded with all the hooning i did), replaced the blown speakers, got the jdm cup holder and that was it, it really was an almost perfect daily. I say almost because I would've loved to stick a 1uz in it but I just don't have the room for the tools to do such a thing at this time.i sold it because i was just too reckless with it. did lots of hooning and had quite a few close calls, but the final straw was when i almost totalled it dodging a roo/wallaby in the middle of the damn road at night, decided to sell it to someone who wanted a fun daily as looking back at it, I did actually put quite a bit of work into it.In a completely logical and totally rational move, I then got myself an old american barge that i'm still unfucking. i guess with this thing, there will always be that thought in the back of my head of>if i screw up i'm totally fucked so i better drive more carefullythat keeps me in check zozzle. it also doesn't have a collapsible steering column :D
and of course, this goddamn carbon copy is up for sale near me...it's like seeing an old friend. it even has about the same mileage as my old car too, probably a bit less actually. I can still buy almost everything I need for another manual swap from yahoo japan lmao although it won't be cheap.
I want a mk2 supra.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbXTzO2Fg30

>>28186123That's a newbie but I'm right here ready to tell him to put a 5S-FE frankenstein engine into his too>listen kid forget about the BEAMS, what you really want is......
>>28186122Replied to myself like a retard. Yes I'm in Aus
>>28186126unreal
>>28186125S motors are definitely the way to go for these cars, fits the chassis the same way a 4AGE fits an AE86, but BEAMS have become a meme now so they're massively overpriced.Get yourself an ST141 parts car, they come up for ~$500 and get sent to the scrapper all the time, take the crossmember, engine mounts and sump off one of those and you can bolt any S engine straight into your car. Pick up a 3Y bellhousing or SA63 bellhousing if you're lucky and you can use your original gearbox (assuming you're already manual). MR2 3S-GEs still come up cheap occasionally, I got one complete for $750, or a 5S-FE can easily make BEAMS power with a turbo.Mind you, you could turbo your old 22RE pretty good too, but they're a bit of a big dirty old lump of an engine IMO.
>>28186130Thanks for giving me a steer
>>28186134PS torsen LSDs from a Lexus IS200 come up all the time for ~$500 and will bolt straight into your RA65 diff housing.
>>28186126did you ever end up using that 7mgte flywheel?
>>28186137Nah I gave it to a friend who was collecting parts to manual swap a 5M-GE into his MX32 but unfortunately that guy changes his mind a lot so he sold the MX32 to focus on some of his other cars.I know a couple of guys who have MX83s and MX73s too so I might be able to tell friend A to sell his 7M manual stuff to one of those guys but they also might end up going JZ turbo so they might not want a W58.Still the flywheel might come in handy if the MX83 guy decides to R154 swap his 7M before putting the JZ in.
>>28186164ahh right makes sense. can't imagine even having a second project car. one is already too much for me. i'm very lazy though
>>28186170Don't worry I try to tell these lads all the time they need to focus their efforts, I learned that first hand as a young man when I had a rwd Mazda 323 hatch, Toyota Corolla KE55 and Nissan HR31 skyline all at the same time and there was a period of time when they each had a problem and I couldn't use any parts from one car to fix another because they were all different. I had to ride my BMX bike to work 45 minutes away at 4am every day and I looked in the mirror one day and said:>"what the fuck are you doing with your life"Now I have strict rules about focusing all my efforts into one project car, but I constantly bend those rules so now it's become two project cars, but they share the same driveline so that's my excuse.
>>28186177>I had to ride my BMX bike to work 45 minutes away at 4am every daygoddamn

>>28184166Cool lights man, where can I get some of those?Ive been working on my aw11, but for the life of me i cant figure out why the front brakes keep locking up, ive replaced the master, the soft lines, rebuild the calipers and bled it a thousand times and it STILL locks up at random and i have to open the bleeder valve to free em up, i just cant figure it out, any ideas? I think it happens on really hot days but im not sure
>>28189013I would be eyeing up that brake booster! Boosters get old and wear out too and they can be affected by corrosion just like anything else. You could try disconnecting the vacuum and driving around with manual brakes for a while to see if that fixes your issue, but if the internals of your booster are sticking it might still happen even without vacuum.
>>28188535>hi i am still heregood
>>28188770Toyotas are cool and great, BUTI would get whatever the most common vehicle that gearheads fuck around with where you're at if it's your first time. All that being said, you'll probably be fine as long as you stick with it and you don't try to start your wrenching career on something obscure with no parts or online info.
>>28189038Will do, thanks, if its the booster Im killing myself, those things are hard to find, and manual brakes for a somewhat daily doesnt sound very appealing but i will have to try it out
>>28189132Manual brakes aren't a big deal, when you first put your foot on the pedal you think "WTF I HAVE NO BRAKES NOW" but then you push harder and realise it still has plenty of braking power you just have to push hard. But don't feel too down because you own a Toyota and I bet there's a bunch of other brake boosters which will fit.The brake booster in my SA63 Celica was sticking and it used to go from not giving any boost at all to suddenly clicking free and giving me a bunch of assist, took me forever to figure out why my brake pedal was so inconsistent. I ended up finding a ~$100 chinese repro brake booster for an FJ45 Land Cruiser on Ebay which looked like it might be the same design just mounted upside down on the Cruiser, I took a gamble and spent my $100 only to find out that it is indeed exactly the same brake booster just upside down. Brakes have been great ever since.
^ just watched a quick video of some guy messing about with his AW11 brake booster and it looks like it has exactly the same flanges as the FJ45 booster too.
>>28189160Thanks for the info, im still pretty new to this, ill test tomorrow with manual brakes and drive it like that until the brakes lock, as I said its pretty random. And if it doesnt lock ill leave it like that or find a fj45 booster thanks a lot brother

I have a 93 4runner, 4x4, 5-speed, originally the 3.0 V6 but now there's no engine. Picked it up to drop a spare Chevy 4.3l into it but while in storage some future doctor stole the interior out of it. So now there are no seats, no door cards, dash is fucked up but mostly there. I was so mad after it happened I sold the 4.3l and pushed the 4runner into the weeds where it's now sat for a couple of years. I can't decide what to do with it but I don't want to keep it. I'm sure someone would take it for the good rust-free frame and/or the 5-speed, maybe? I'd like to half-ass an engine into it and bolt in a random junkyard seat, but without an ECU and with most of the wiring cut I can't do the "easy" replacement. So, what then? Do I find the cheapest running engine with a carby on Craigslist that I can fit to a W56 and just nigger-rig it as cheaply as possible? Are there enough people desperate for a 2nd gen 4runner frame that someone would actually buy this partially-stripped rolling chassis for more than $6? I have zero motivation to part it out, I'd sooner call the recycler than spend my time selling used 4runner parts.
>>28191014The r150 thats in it will mate to a 5vzfe. If you wanted to bolt a 22r/re to the r150, you would need an r151F bellhousing, and those are kinda rare. Or do you mean that you would find a 22r and a w56 to throw in? The R150 trans you can sell for sure. You could always part it out. Where are you located?
>>28191014You know what engine bolts up to a 3VZ bellhousing? God's own 5S-FE Camry motor.Shits all over a 22R.
>>28191019~60 miles from where that photo was taken. >>28190760dimmer knob doesn't work with LEDs. they are on/off. they don't have variable resistance like incads. Also, I think the dimmer light is actually broken. Weird thing is, there is a dimmer light hooked up to the harness, zip tied away under the dash. Plus, the JDM one never came with a dimmer light. Yet another mystery about Theis mystery wagon. VIN says it's autotragic, but it's manual. Seems like the trans is JDM (slightly different oil capacity), but someone has swapped a USDM engine. The mystery always thickens....I just took it out for the first test drive in 2 weeks after>rebuilt front struts with SACHS shocks>replaced all trans seals>new axles>new ball joints>new outer tie rod ends>MOOG polyurethane sway bar links>snow tires on alloy wheels>lights>stereo>fixed blower motor>fixed knock sensor (turned off CEL)>fixed exhaust and cat delete (it was rusted) + extra resonator>5.3 I if redline MT-90 (so fucking expensive)>started rust repairand holy SHIT this thing WHIPS!!Those SACHS shocks are fantastic. It just plows through everything now. And the steering feels so light with the new front end stuff. The MT-90 also totally changes the feel of the trans. Didn't fix the 2nd gear synchros completely, but it's better than before, and the overall shifting is so smooth and light now. I meant to go out for 15 minutes but I ended up ripping around in the snow for about an hour. It has about 90hp so it's hella slow, but it handles like a beast at mid speeds and around corners in the snow. Not quite a fully fledged rally wagon, but a 7afe and a stage 2 clutch would probably do it. Dream would be an ae86 GTS rear end, but those are unobtainium. Next steps for me are>speakers and sub>rear shocks>finish the bondo>swapping some Michelin X-ice over from my Hondacan't believe I'm finally more or less done
>>28191038are you sure? the ones i got worked with the dimmer switch, but they were a lot more sensitive. they did have little resistor thingies on them though for canbus applications.
>>28191038>MT-90also can confirm, this shit's expensive but actually improved my shift quality on my w58
>>28191113Like it made the synchros work smoother or something?
>>28191122yeah, it slipped into gear a bit smoother over the toyota gear oil
>>28191200Nice might give it a go in one of my notchy gearboxes
>>28190919>>28190163thanks folks, towed it to my buddy, btw battery diedanyway turns out the bypass pipe cracked and lost all coolant, headgaskets should be fine
>>28191341Peak automotive in that picture, both cars. Nothing as good before it, nothing as good since.
>>28191014A 4runner shell is a 4runner shell, people will always pay for them. You can do a 5vz like that other anon said, If you want to get creative you can always put a 2gr in it cause toyota never changed the v6 bellhousing pattern, you can go back to the 4.3 or get a 5.7 tbi in there with minimal wiring.since you're starting from pretty much nothing the sky is the limit.
>>28191530I think my bitterness over the whole thing is what's holding me back the most. It was only ever meant to be a quick project and turnaround for the fun of the swap, that jogger breaking in and stealing the seats and whatnot out of it really fucked my motivation. I'm gonna list the rolling chassis to see if it catches any interest at a price that doesn't make me seethe. I like the idea of the 2GR if this is something I wanted to drive, but frankly I'd rather just do the bare minimum to get it running and be rid of it. If I pull another Toyota engine, even a 5VZ or whatever, I'll also need a complete harness and ECU, all so I can discover a head gasket leak or try to diagnose a misfire? Fuck that, I hate the 3VZ and the 5VZ, and I've done enough work on them to know I don't want to touch them. I give my siblings an endless stream of shit for their endless stream of issues in their 3rd gens. If I'm putting a motor in this then it's gotta have a carburetor, it'll take me 5 minutes to do all of the wiring, I've got suitable fuel pumps laying around, I've got a gas tank from a 92 I can throw in and make use of, I'd rather throw money at an adapter plate than an ECU.Thanks for helping with my rambling angry procrastination, fellas, I appreciate it.
>>28191110idk. I also think the dimmer switch in my car might not even work. it's kinda a mystery. A lot of stuff on this JDM car has been swapped from a USDM parts car at one point. the harness is JDM, but apparently the JDM car never had a dimmer... and yet there is a pigtail for a dimmer... but it doesn't seem to do anything. so confused. Went out for a night drive last night tho and it wasn't really too bright. Could definitely be a little dimmer if I was going to drive 10 hours all night, but I'll work that out before I do a major roadtrip. Not the worst problem, and the lights definitely look cool as hell.>>28191113it feels kinda weird at first, like really light. I was worried I didn't out enough oil in, but it DID dribble out the fill hole before I resealed it. Didn't want to overfill, as I know that can be quite bad. Gears 1, 3, 4, and 5 are now smooth as fuck. Takes basically no effort to shift into them. Gear 2 is still about sticky, but it definitely got easier to avoid grinding than it was before. It didn't "give me a new transmission", but it's about a 50% improvement I would say, and I can imagine it would be amazing in a less worn out trans. But I still think it should be possible to find some regular cheap GL4 dino oil at like a tractor store or something. aid also like to go a little heavier, like 80w90 instead of 75w90. I think this stuff is too expensive.
>>28191122I don't think MT-90 makes the synchros work better. It just doesn't damage them as much as the new GL5 oils do. the new oils are designed for new cars that don't have brass synchros. It has a bunch of sulfur and phosphorus "ultra high pressure additives", but they are basic and react with copper (in particular the sulfur). Apparently this is why 80s and 90s cars often have bad synchros--people have been filling them with GL5, but it's not chemically a good idea. So MT-90 solves that problem, since it's pretty much the only pure GL4 gear oil on the market for classic cars. You can tell it doesn't have the sulfur because cheap GL5 oils smell like shit mixed with piss and MT-90 GL4 smells like licorice. But it's actually very light and highly viscous, so I don't think it really improves the function of already-worn synchros. It is a really good oil, so it helps you slide into gear. It makes shifting really smooth, but you will still grind gears that have bad synchros. I think improving already-worn synchros would require an oil or an oil additive of higher viscosity, and maybe some kind of microscopic friction additive. Anyways, I'm happy with the result. I still have to rev match a bit, but it's easier to slip into gear when I get there, and the transmission overall feels wayyyy nicer, shifts smoother and faster. I am going to continue researching friction modifiers to help the synchros tho.
>>28191688what about trying to use the 3vz-fe from the camry. people constantly get it mixed up with the 3vz-e which was hot garbage but the -fe is actually pretty damn great
>>28191897it's very expensive, but for me it was great.can you even overfill on those gearboxes? i think practically every toyota gearbox's fill instructions was either "fill until fluid starts dripping out the fill hole" or "fill until fluid level is 5mm below bottom of fill hole"
>>28192246I just filled until the liquid started dribbling out, but I didn't wait until it stopped dribbling to put the fill cap back on. Is that okay?fuckin needed to buy 6 bottles of this stuff. $28 a quart. insane.I just got sick of researching oils and got sick of having the car on jack stands so I just took the hit

>>28189422>>28189876It was an oxidized plug for the fuel pump. Some wiggling and it starts fine. Have to observe the issue if it's a broken wire or the plug itself.
98 SC400 with a six speed manual swapReplaced the power steering system to an electric power steering from a Toyota MR-S. Swapped in another 1UZ with a healthier one. Redid the valve covers and intake manifold.
>>28196321VERY SICK
>>28196321Touching myself rn
>>28196321goddam son. cd009 or t56 magnum?
>>28196321>manual sc400Sounds nice but Idk why someone would change the inlet manifold and not get itbs.
>>28196911Maybe he wanted to actually utilise the torque from his FE heads instead throwing it away for runners that are way too short with memetbs
>>28196913>memetbsOh boy we got some sour grapes over here.
>>28196914Show dyno gains
>>28196321>MRS EAPSman I forgot about those, how well do they work compared to a standard pump? I'm tempted to snag one from a volvo.
>>28197186what does this pump do?
>>28197794for the mr-s (and i think sw20?) toyota used an electric power steering pump instead of belt driven so they could mount it near the rack, ford/volvo also used one that's very silimar to the toyota design but for different reasons.
>>28197926ohh right. i was trying to google wtf eaps meant but kept getting irrelevant results lol
>tfw want an 80s or 90s yota to fuck around with and wrench>can't decide what to get
Welcome back /ctg/Prayer be ti our father in heaven, mikufag, who died for our sins. May his ra64 and ra65 live on in our memory.I might grab and revive a 91 mr2. Runs and drivess but missing front fenders and bumper. Will need to retitle/obtain one off bill of sale.
>>28191341whats done to the volvo. nice R wheels, i had a set of 5 beat up ones i gave to my friend when i sold him my old 850.
>>28196404It's a CD009 from a 350z, the transmission shifts good but they are noisy. I'm thinking to switch to a bmw 6 speed in the future for NVH reasons.>>28196911For the little peak power gain you'll spend so much money and have to get a standalone or piggyback at the very least. Doesn't make sense to do that.>>28197186The volvo one works really well but its a taller unit and WAY louder. I opted for the MR-S because its a smaller unit, quieter, has almost the same size as the stock power steering reservoir so I put in that same location and there is a input for VSS which I'm figuring out how to make it work. The only thing I have to do is use a cooler for the lines because once warmed up it can get a bit stiff but otherwise its butter smooth, totally worth it. You can use a SW20 pump as well but you'll have to get the ECU separately or make your own controller, this unit is all in one.
>>28199024>For the little peak power gain you'll spend so much money and have to get a standalone or piggyback at the very least. Doesn't make sense to do that.Someone who went to all the trouble of manual swapping an sc400 should understand itbs aren't just about the numbers.
>>28199040Do it on your own dime then, the gain from a manual swap for feels is much greater than ITBs
>>28199051You've gone to the expense of manual swapping it and you're apparently prepared to go to even further expense swapping to a different manual for a trivial reason so why cuck yourself with a half-assed intake upgrade. Whatever, you do you anon.
>>28199060half-assed intake upgrade? did I ever say that? it's literally the stock intake. Nothing was changed. I'm even using the stock air filter lmaoAlso switching for NVH is not a trivial reason, the entire point of doing this is so it's fun to drive, whether it daily driving or spirited driving and anything that improves is a net positive. Makes me chuckle that you have made so many assumptions in such little time.
>>28199068>half-assed intake upgrade? did I ever say that? it's literally the stock intake. Nothing was changed. When you post>Redid the .... intake manifold.and combined with the carbon fiber finish it makes you chuckle that anyone would think you changed the intake does it?
>>28199077are you bad at reading?> Redid the valve covers and intake manifold.>ANDlet me guess, you think that means upgraded valve covers too right?
>>28199079calm down faggot.>say you redid the intake manifold>"redone" intake has carbon fiber finish>stock sc intake manifold has the throttle body on the side, not the front. Don't pretend it's not natural to assume you did something to the intake.
>>28199085for someone who wants me to get ITBs so bad you sure as hell can't even identify a stock intake on a 1UZ... I think it's best you stop posting now anon lol
>want to buy an MR2>AW11's are nowhere to be found>SW20's are all flogged and riced by mehmet and mohammad (they still want 30k though)>ZZW30's are pretty easy to find but faggots continually list them as manual despite being autoit's joever
>>28199087 You're just arguing for arguments sake. Anyone familiar with SC400s or any other non-vvt 1uz car is going to be surprised by a carbon-looking manifold with the throttle on the front.
>>28199094Then say that anon, say that you don't know even know what UZs look like, all that talking for what. You can't even recognize such a common Toyota engine, forget the manifold even the valve covers are entirely different lol, why didn't you mention that either? You really had to google it didn't you.
>>28199099Mate I've owned 4 1uz powered cars including 2 sc400 and they all had the side throttle. You said you've redone the intake, the intake _looks_ like carbon fiber for some reason. The throttle is in a different spot to 90% of sc400 aren't you're getting your panties in a twist over me thinking you've done something to the intake. Good for you buddy.
>>28199116You've owned 4 1UZs and you still can't recognize different versions of them? That says a lot about you and your "knowledge" on things, I really hope you aren't posting your advice here. Go back to the picture I posted, look at the driver side mirror, that's what you're looking for.
>>28199118Why are your jimmies so rustled anon? Calm down. Just accept that when you say you've redone your intake, you've made it look like carbon fiber and the vast majority of sc400 had the side intake that it's easy to assume you've changed it. Move on.
>>28199024Hey that looks familiar. God damn I hate people from Texas so much, they never fail to be mentally ill.
>>28199024>>28199149Did this nibba really put a (you) on the rear view mirror? What is an sc400 going to put in the rear view mirror kek
>>28199155Go easy on him, he's from Texas.
>>28198659for me it makes it a bit easier to decide if i can see that rockauto has a decent amount of parts that i can get for it
OP here.I finally got my car all back together and took it out to the lake for some ice drifting. It was okay. I think I need better tires. But the main problem I noticed is that the wheel bearings are getting extremely loud on highway driving. I rebuilt the entire rest of the front end, but I was really hoping not to have to do the wheelbearings, mainly because the parts are rare. I did try to replace the oil/grease seals when I did the CV axles, but the seals I got were the wrong size. I think the correct seals for the AE95 are pretty hard to find, but rockauto does sell these SEALED bearings, and I've verified that AE92 front wheelbearings fit my AE95. I know these bearings don't need to be greased, but people are telling me it could still suffer from dust and water intrusion. How bad would it be if I just swap in these sealed bearings and don't change the outer seals?
>>28199088>ZZW30's are pretty easy to find but faggots continually list them as manual despite being autoMeh, you're going to 2ZZ swap it anyway.
>>28199274i think sealed just means you don't need to keep regreasing them. dust seals are still needed
>the old 1UZ MA61 retard doesn't recognise a later generation 1UZ manifoldPotteryI always knew that guy was retarded
Wow, everyone has a 1uz in here.Alright, bros. I have an intermittent electrical problem. Sometimes my tailgate window on my first gen 4runner works, and sometimes it doesn't. If it doesn't work, I'll go for a drive down a bumpy road. Then it might be fine for a while. I went through all of the connections back there and cleaned everything up. The motor is definitely not burnt up. Also the tailgate closed/open sensor was already bypassed by a previous owner. There's also no wiper to trip that switch either. I'm not sure what else to check.
>>28199330fuckCan't find them anywhere
>>28199465where are you? only asking because amayama might have them in stock but if you're not in a country they have an office in you may need to pay for postageyou can get part numbers herehttps://toyota.epc-data.com/corolla/ae95/21669/chassis/4303/just check up what your chassis code/model number is though. should be the same for all of the wheel bearings but you never know. they seem to have an oil seal kit which has all the seals needed too for one wheel.
>>28199545also if you want to shop around for oem stuff, other sites similar to amayama include partsouq, megazip and toyotapartsdealpartsouq are based in the uae, megazip is russia so dunno if the whole ukraine thing will affect shipping, amayama seems to get stuff from jap and uae warehouses. they often have cheap shipping but expect to wait at least 2-3 months before your stuff actually arrives.toyotapartsdeal seems to be in the us but their prices tend to be a bit higher, still usually cheaper than dealers though
>>28199545>https://toyota.epc-data.com/corolla/ae95/21669/chassis/4303/amayama does have them but I just didn't want to order from amayama because it seems like a hassle. I was actually hoping the project would be finished by now. I'm losing motivation. But I already fixed so much on this car, I have to keep going
>>28199596what about them is a hassle? for me it's just the insanely long shipping times so i try to buy shit in bulk, or small things. i just pay with paypal which makes it easy.see if you can cross reference the numbers on rockauto or something
>>28199149Looks like the picture from the guy who did mine. Manifold is hydrodipped and the valve covers powdercoated
>>28199811Ummm bro I think he might be implying he IS the guy who did yours, are you from Texas?
>>28199708I need to drive this car like next week at the latest. I can't wait months for a dust seal
>>28199828yeah in which case look at the other sites i mentioned or try to cross reference the part numbers from that catalog with something available
>>28199828can you not just take some measurements and experiment at the parts store?
>>28199818It's possible but I know him personally
>>28199811It's your manifold, literally that one, it's the one in your car. Had that picture on Instagram the day of the dip.
>>28199024>but its a taller unit and WAY louderthat's the exact info i've been trying to find and no one talks about, thanks man.
>>28199978the fuck you doing here out of all the places>>28200695Here's another picture of the unit, it fits snug. A friend welded it on the existing PS bracket
