You know, I kinda want one of these. They're everywhere and dirt cheap too
>>
They're "everywhere" in the sense that most have disintegrated in junkyards and their atoms have been redistributed into the earth.

American take on a Japanese economy sedan….why not just get an actual Japanese car?
>>
>>28196917
Do you think they still do the owners picnics?

If you are over 6' the 2nd/3rd gen SL/SW is a tight fit. You'd fit in a 2nd/3rd gen SC though.

The SL2 was great

Only problem: You will destroy the #2 bearing if you turn too fast while redlining, because you starve this part of the engine of oil.

t. used to autocross an SL2

I always substituted a quart of oil fir a quart of Lucas stabilizer and never had this problem. I did one time forget to tell the machine shop to egg the last cylinder though. That was a 2 week of wrenching mistake.

They do not.

Damn I haven’t seen one of these on the road in forever. They were ubiquitous for quite a long time but that time has passed.
I always preferred the sharper styling of the first generation sl1 sedan but I haven’t seen one of those on the road since around 2009 or something.
They were considered cockroaches back in their day so it’s kinda jarring to bring them up now and think how long it’s been since I saw one.

Not really you guys are dumb

Yes, General Motors (GM) created the Saturn Corporation in 1985 to compete with Japanese auto manufacturers in the US compact car market:

quite a bit different from your original statement, retard-kun.

They are good cars. They drive like big cars and are easy to see from. Easy to work on. There is like one vacuum like. 98 is better than 97. 96 is better than 97 also, as they had problems with head castings but, any survivors had that corrected. The connecting rods are longer in 98. Timing on a chain. Distributorless. Weak points are front mount and losing reverse in automatic. Each are easily repaired. 240 thousand miles easy. I have seen some particular raunchy ones leaking into trunk but that should be okay if you don’t park under trees for weeks at a time. There’s nothing existing about those fuckers but they are pretty great.

Shame.

Too many fights made the gatherings uninsurable.

Lols, I think you are referring to Geo.

The Saturn SL series had a spin-on transmission fluid filter, pretty fucking cool from a maintenance perspective.

>spin-on transmission fluid filter
Never to be seen again.
>>
>>28201123
>Never to be seen again.
Correct
>it's a lifetime fluid
>that will be $995 for your transmission service
>whoops, that will be $4995 for your transmission replacement
