My brake piston will not go back in. I forced so hard that the special tool handle bent. I need to atleast put it back so I can take it to a mechanic. A little help guys
>>
If you managed to push the piston out of the cylinder then it might be misaligned.
Usually helps if you screw it into the cylinder, helps seat the piston in

Is that one of those weird screwing style pistons that use with parking brakes?
it should still fit back in.
likely will need to bleed the brakes after.
>>
>>28199628
What car is it? It might be one of those pistons where you have to rotate and and push it in at the same time which either needs you to struggle a lot with someone that'll give you a hand or you need to get a piston windback kit. That's the case with my Mustang

Some brake pistons screw in
Did you EVEN read the manual?
>>
>>28199628
Are you SURE the clamp isn't cockeyed? If it is, it can bind up the piston. If not, loosen the bleeder and see if the piston goes in. That isn't a fix, but you'll be able to reassemble. Might have a worn-out rubber line, that's acting like a check-valve.

As everyone else said, rear brake cylinders usually need to be rotated as they go back in.

Your calipers look a little too new for this, but you are likely fucked and need a new caliper. Even if you managed to push it back in, it will just lock up and not retract the first time you use it.

Get a new caliper. You will need to bleed the whole system after. You are about to be out ~200 if that's a Honda, which is what it looks like.

Buy new caliper it is seized.

maybe its left hand thread? i think my old 09 accord was this way.

The meat on those brake pads are not even. Isnt that a problem?

Rear calipers have to be screwed in, little wrenchlet

You have no tools.

OP here. Sprayed some WD40 on that shit. It unlocked. Apparently I'm gonna need a new one like yesterday.

Just zip tie it up somewhere. You have 3 other brakes.
>>
>>28200267
you have no tools.
>>
>>28199667
This, most German cars have them, as do all chargers, challengers, 300s, etc without Brembos.
>>
>>28200309
I checked the correct procedure but I cant unscrew the upper bolt..

>>28200287
You can see the pins of the tool I use on the uper part of your own circle. I knew how to use it. I'm no brainlet, no sir
>>
>>28199628
Take the cap off the fluid reservoir. If it still won't budge, open the bleeder on the caliper. You might have crimped a brake line, effectively sealing the pistons in place.
>>
>>28200085
The lines wear out internally, pinch shut and hold pressure like a check-valve, idiot. Maybe work on a car, instead of a Huffy.

You have never touched a wrench in your entire life.
