The worst vehicle that ever existed in the history of automobiles
>>
I've seen quite a few of these in my flyover. i'm surprised with how many are already on the road. i like them, because its proof that Elon Musk isn't your average car company CEO. no conventional automaker would've ever let this enter concept phase, let alone production.

its a manifestation of a child's inner imagination. the car itself may not be very good, but i like what it represents.

But even new trucks designed for urbanites that will never use the useless ass 4.8' bed if they could are still more useful than the cybertruck, which is at best an open topped suv eith a tiny bed and little space

Every single cybertruck will be long gone and/or no longer in running condition by the time they're as old as your Skoda there.
>>
>>28205075
I'm aware, so is probably every other modern car.
Still I've seen people complain about cars like mine on /o/ because they have no airbags, no crash safety, can't do 200mph down the highway in 9th gear and worst of all, are manual.
>>

>>
>>28204890
There was a thread a while back where some anon compiled posts from the cybertruck subreddit where owners talked about why they bought theirs. 90% of the answers had to do with attention mongering.
One of them was even about how the owner's step kids would have to think he's cool now that he gets attention everywhere he drives the Tesla. It was pretty funny, wish I could find that thread in the archive.

People buy these things for the same reason that richfags who have never turned a wrench buy 1930s Packards. So people stop and point at them when they're driving around.

The Yugo was not a bad car, for what it was. Despite having a fairly iffy quality control during manufacturing, it was under half of the cost of the next cheapest car (it costed 5000 usd new), and was remarkably easy to repair and maintain, some repairs could be done with a toolbox and, quite literally, random shit in your pocket or kitchen.

The cybertruck costs 80k, 110K loaded, cant tow, cant go offroad, is a ticking time bomb, pajeet construction quality and literally is unfixable. Not even a comparison desu
>>
>>28205199
This, the Yugo is a shitbox, but it's a shitbox designed for a purpose; to be as cheap and easily repairable as possible. And it excels at both of those points.
The only thing the cybertruck "excels" at is visually standing out, and not in a good way. You can't even argue that it's "good" for an EV either because the PD1000 Model S mogs it in every way.

A shame the engine developed for the car lasted decades longer than the car it was meant for. It's a shame how overlooked it is especially for short track and turbo application.

Ford Pinto: 1971-1980
Lima T88 metric 2.3 OHC: 1974-2001

(Earlier versions of the engine in smaller sizes date back to 1970)
