My 2016 Veloster turbo wasn't. A lot of the electronics started going out after I had reached 40k miles. Everything from parts of the dashboard illumination to the backup camera to a few wheel speed sensors all started needing replacing.

I never hear of the cheap, basic Hyundais and Kias (Accent, Elantra, Rio, Soul etc.) having any catastrophic problems. It helps that most throughout the '10s were built as simple as '90s econoboxes so there's not much to fail on them. As late as 2017 at least you could get a Kia Rio optioned so simply it would still have crank windows, and I can't say the same for any other manufacturer selling cars in the US.
