>>28207821>>reliable>>easy and cheap to maintainNo.
>>28207821>reliableMy 2016 Veloster turbo wasn't. A lot of the electronics started going out after I had reached 40k miles. Everything from parts of the dashboard illumination to the backup camera to a few wheel speed sensors all started needing replacing.
>>28207821>not that cheap anymore>unreliable>no easier to fix than any other car, parts cost the same as a Honda>you get cheap trinkets of low quality for your money, just like GM, Dodge, etc.>and people steal them with a USB charging cordHyundai owners are the most insecure people I know. No other brand feels the need to constantly validate themselves like this lol.
>reliablelol no. i worked at a hyundai dealership for awhile in the parts department and the amount of cars coming in that needed brand new engines that only had 40k miles or less was insanity. stay the fuck away from hyundai and those dogshit 4 cylinders they pump out.
>>28207821Someone please hire their car designers so their talents are used on a good company not bogged down by dogshit cheapo engineering I'm begging
>>28207938You know Toyota has to replace 100k Tundra engines, right?
>>28210368>replace tried-and-true, but "outdated," engines with turbocharged undersized engines>to no one's surprise, they ACK early onMany such cases!
>>28210368Where in the absolute goddamn fuck did I say one word about Toyota? I don't care for them either.
>>28207821>is there anything they can't do?Outside of the N74 concept, show me one car that looks good.Just. One.
My mom just bought one to haul the grandkids around in and it’s not bad. I wouldn’t buy one but she likes it so we’ll see how it shakes out

Didn't their transmissions blow up only just a few years ago? They still have a sketchy air about them.
>>28210740Usually the people shit talking manufacturers like this suck the dicks of manufacturers with just as many issues. Who DO you care for then? You're taking a crap shoot with any modern vehicle. I personally have no idea why you would want buy anything modern when leasing is an option. It's all junk.
>>28207821You forgot>The jeets chariot
>>28207821>easy and cheap to maintain>one of the top brands to be in the garage getting warranty fixes than any other
>>28210357someone i know asked a mechanic what kind of car he recommends and he recommended a hyundai tuscon and as soon as i heard this i knew exactly why
>>28207821Why did they fight so hard to not make a simple rwd sports car? They made the Genesis coupe and it was okay and then they were like okay let's never do that again. 4 doors from now on. Now they're all electric so it'll never happen.
>>28207821My friend's wife had a hyundai burst into flames once while it was parked in front of their house
kdm is literally slop yeah maybe it tastes good but it's low quality and has no substance
I really want to test drive an Elantra N.
>>28207821>reliable
>all these mean comments about HyundaiPhew, good thing I drive a KIA
>>28207821Oh anon.. uhm.. Look, i know our lives are miles apart and i cant really "relate". But i understand. I do. Your mother abandoned you when you where just a babyboy. Your dad soon got a boyfriend, they neglected you. Left you home in shitty diapers while they where out the entire night. To get "all the chocolate bananas", they said. To make up for all that missed attention you've since dedicated your entire life to getting all of it, good or bad. You want to be the rebel, the edgy dude, the interesting quirky guy, the cool guy who doesn't care, the misunderstood artist, the individualist, etc. I get it, your motivations atleast. But at some point we need to face some facts.. One of those facts is that life is indeed tough, unfair and harsh and we cant fight that. Rather, we need to accept that and navigate through it. And that simply means that, sometimes, generally, we just cant be that special snowflake. We must go with the stream, blend with the crowd. Because how people look at you DOES matter. What they think of you DOES matter. Your public image largely dictates your credibility. You could be the best lawyer in town. But if you insist on wearing a clown suit to court, people would rather get sentenced to life in prison than to be represented by you. Exact same deal with driving a "hyundai" car. You might think it makes you "special" or "interesting", but in reality it just makes you questionable, untrustworthy, and creepy. >b-b-but its so practical.. No anon. No. This just isn't it. This is not the way you want to be going. Please, just trust us on this. We care about you.
>>28207928>on what planet t. never had a kino i30n
>>28207821Right now you can lease a 2025 Ioniq 6 for $208 a month for 24 months. Is there some reason why I shouldn't do this and use it as a commuter shitter? It's basically the same amount of $ I would be paying for something like a 15+ year old toyota corolla in my area. Which I would undoubtably sell at a loss in the future anyway.
>>28207821im taking my mum to pick up her new hyundai tucson today :)
>>28207821>burns enough oil to make a 2005 camry scared>throws a rod>we dont care about your warranty LOL eat a dick t. dealer
>>28207821>outlasts nu-Corollas and Civics in your pathI never hear of the cheap, basic Hyundais and Kias (Accent, Elantra, Rio, Soul etc.) having any catastrophic problems. It helps that most throughout the '10s were built as simple as '90s econoboxes so there's not much to fail on them. As late as 2017 at least you could get a Kia Rio optioned so simply it would still have crank windows, and I can't say the same for any other manufacturer selling cars in the US.
Nice to see some of /o/ still realizes Koreans make shit unreliable engines.
