Check to see if it's topped off on fluid. If it is, maybe looking up some common causes on a vic forum. Otherwise start looking for a replacement while giving the current one some snake oil.

It has the 4r70w which is a really good transmission ive driven 3 of them to over 300k miles individually so its odd to hear one only making it to 150k. Dump some Dr tranny (lmao) in it, two of the red tubes, and see if that helps.
