I’m like this but not an npc way
>>

That's like half the faggots on here. They settle for a fwd automatic shitbox and post sour grapes all day

>npcjak even though LE FAST LE GOOD car enthusiasm is the automotive equivalent of saying you're really into music and your favorite artists are Billie Eilish and Post Malone o algo

But that's being "not a car guy" then. Considering cars nothing more than transportation is what's NPC. That doesn't make sense.

So NPCs are more practical and financially conservative than you?
>>

You do realize this motherfucker drove sportscars and bikes when he was your age

FWD will not get you reliably from A to B
You need a diesel 4x4 with 3 locking diffs for that.
>>
>>28210979
A Celica is not a sportscar.

This but unironically. Posting a 'jak doesn't disprove the point.

Yeah and kids are retarded and simple, comparing your own grown up tastes with that of a child is not doing you any good.

Wanting a practical but not fun car is reasonable but means you aren't a car guy. That's ok but you should find another hobby.

I never said that, just that there's more to cars than generic flavor of the decade sports cars that kids and normalretards cream themselves over, some of which you can find and run for way cheaper too.
Besides, a solid amount of econoboxes can provide a fun driving experience as well because there's more to it than just le speed. Chasing the 70 billion horsepower is pretty moot when you'll practically never use all of them in your daily commute and barely any of the "car guys" will ever set foot on a real track or a real drag strip in their lives.

Tell that to James May

???
James May owns a Ferrari, a Bentley and a Rolls Royce just for starters

wouldn't
/n/ - Transportation
be a more apropiate place for you?
>>
>I have to use this vehicle an hour or more 6 days a week
>no, I'm not going to spend any more than is practical on it

Some people have no sense and/or no personality. These same people will think your v8 mustang is cool and exciting, while not understanding it cost less than their Acura. Sad little sheep.
>>
>>28209673
The real NPC move is not realizing you can own more than one car. You can have both a comfortable practical A to B car and also have something fun, maybe something that isn't even street legal.
>>
People will get into $80k of debt to buy a car that compromises on practicality and sportiness when you could just have two cars that don’t compromise on either for way less money. Why? Branding & status, looking like a white person in a BMW or whatever.
>>
>>28209673
I just have to worry about being able to take care of my kids when I have them. going ultra fast isn't that interesting to me when cars come off the lot with 1000 hp affordably now. It's not like you're going to reasonably get past that dumping a few grand into a car. What I want is a car not beholden to modern regulations and is easy to work on, looks good, and very usable.
>>
I'm so tired of hating on high-end options in a hobby

>>

I drive a fwd automatic shitbox because it's all I have and the other day I did reverse donuts in a parking lot
>>
>>28209793
Yup! That’s me and my totally original opinion! I torally didnt decide to be obsessed with a car because reddit and youtube told me to! I always wanted a Honda S2000 for objective reasons, even tho I didnt know it existed 6 weeks ago!

Absolutely.
