Going back from today to 2010, who makes the best stock 4x4 SUV?

You know, the same reason why people buy crossovers, trucks and SUV's in the first place? Just because somebody wants a 4x4 doesn't mean they're going to go do the Rubicon with it. It's more of a better to have it than not need it type of thing.

>>28210509Best at what?Probably worst in the price category, but I'd say a Mercedes G-Class 4x4 squared anyway. Low range + triple lockers + portal axles make them a pretty mean package for being a factory stock vehicle.Runner up, and much cheaper option? I'd say the 2500 Suburbans and Yukons you could buy until about 2013-14 when they discontinued them for the public.
