A stock mitsubishi lancer EVO 9 is still a Meta car for rallycross still after all these years. 300 horsepower and a LSD is what destroys other stock cars in rally cross. the price is just because 19k is basically a guaranteed winner car if you know how to drive.
i wouldnt doubt that this is a community car thats been passed around and won by many different drivers. they get good at stock class, then move up and sell them. probably why they have so many owners. it's like a Honda rebel motorcycle. you get one to learn, as soon as you are comfortable, you sell it and get a bigger bike. they too get passed around the community alot.
