Putting aside the fact the Slowdeo was a terrible fucking vehicle, it turns out the supposedly indestructible 4J engine isn't so indestructible if none of the previous half-dozen owners ever took care of the fucking thing. It totally shit the bed so I scrapped it. I'm done with dualcab utes, garbage form factor. Replaced it with the poor man's Landcruiser, a 2011 Pajero (diesel, of course) with one previous owner - an old woman who did all the logbook servicing religiously and only did 164,000km. Pretty happy with it so far except for the garbage stock headunit, MMCS is fucking terrible. That thing's coming right out.Thank you for reading my blogpost.
