Its me. The guy with the sweet gifted red 92 Camaro from my wife's dad. The one with that flat tire and low profile and all that. Well guess what? I DID make it. I hired a mobile tire guy and her figured it out for me, really nice guy.Anyways now I have a new problem. A few days ago my 2012 Hyundai Veloester started making the "time to change the brakes" noise on the back passenger side tire, and I've been using it sparingly. But I was visiting my elderly mother and moving some furniture for her, and when I left to head home I hit a small patch of ice, and the ABS triggered the light that usually shuts off almost immediately, and suddenly I realized that something was wrong. I pulled over and messed around a bit and figured out that the abs light was stuck on along with the "slippery road' light, AND that same back passenger tire was locked up. I made it back the half mile to my moms house, and I'm going back in the morning with my MAN TOOLS but I'm wondering if disconnecting the battery will be enough to reset it, or if taking the fuse out until I cam drive it to the shop? I already planned to take to the shop on tuesday for the rear brakes. Anyways, any help would be appreciated! Thanks auto anons.
Come on anon...you're my only hope. Bump for desperation.
I ain’t reading all thatI’m happy for you thoOr sorry that happened
Idk man not reading any of that shit. Either pick up a wrench and fix er, or pay another man for service/new car/whatever
>>28214498>the abs light was stuck on along with the "slippery road' light, AND that same back passenger tire was locked upSounds like a stuck piston. Put the car in gear and rock it back and forth to try and loosen it.
>>28215532>>28215535ABS light and slidy-car light are staying on and displayed on the dash and the rear passenger tire brake is locked on. Other tires are moving normally.>>28215544Will try that. Already unhooked the battery and waited, still the same on start up. The fuse for the abs is one of these wierd multifuses responsible for the alternator and other important stuff, this one doesn't have removable individual fuses does it?Thanks anons!
