>>28214911Read the owner's manual. I still occasionally get surprised by mine on a car I've had for 10 years. If it didn't come with one, get one. Keep it in the glove compartment. I don't know who takes the manual out of their cars, but a lot of people do.Any maintenance the owner's manual shows how to do, start with doing that for yourself. Then you can move up to doing your own oil changes, brake pads, etc. if you want.Chilton and Haynes manuals suck now. Your public library probably has a subscription to the Haynes/Chilton online service. Use that instead of buying the hardcopy, which will just send you to the online service anyway. The factory service manual and wiring diagram should be better when you're ready for that.
