The thing that made the G-Bodies good was that in conjunction with the engine being in the back, they were so lightweight that they basically floated around on the asphalt, truly nothing else like it. But despite looking like they did 30 years ago, the 911 is pushing 3500lbs now and feels nothing like it used to. They've made up for it in the GT3 by giving it a high-revving 4.0L and an engaging 6-speed, but those are a quarter million dollars now. $120k gets you an automatic only 3500lbs hybrid base Carrera with no options.
