>>28215595What's up JeremyI just have like 4 tool boxes in the garage and they're all filled up
Totally overdue for some organization here. How has the hf box worked out for you? I’ve been tempted when those go on sale. My buddy says haunt Craigslist and fb marketplace for deals on better.
yea
I wish I had room for a side cabinet, but is is almost perfect
>>28215849I live on the equator.
Yeaaa buddy
>>28215595I need a new box, I have no more space in my 1960's williams box.
>>28216117Tbqhwy, go look at the Husky boxes at Home Depot. There’s probably still some holiday deals through the end of January, like 44” top and bottom combos for around $600 and they’re built pretty solid with power strips on the top and such.If you want to spend a couple more bucks, the new Milwaukee boxes are sweet if you can find them anywhere. They’re built with some nice extra touches>tfw I need a new big box too but spend all my money on tools insteadOn the other hand, these Hart stackers aren’t as nice as the Milwaukee or Klein setups, but they sale they had was too good to pass up on. I’m at about $140 total for the setup here (minus the bag), good for the mobile jobs considering Milwaukee wants that much just for the base. Hart has new tool bags that lock into the boxes as well and I’m considering one of those.
Milkwaukee has been getting really for fucking real serious about every market they're in. TTI is a very impressive company.
>>28215701Jealous of that series 2 box, the series 3 that replaced it is straight ass with less drawers for the same price.
remember everyone, true toolbox appreciators do the #openeverydrawer challenge!open every drawer in your toolbox, fully extended, at the same time and post a photo in this thread!
>>28216402if this thread is still alive by monday when I get back to the shop.
>>28216402Never gonna happen. I have the ubiquitous Craftsman box and I added the 3-drawer middle section, and the top of the base is bent slightly because the thing is overflowing, so I could probably get 2 rows down before the top section goes over the edge,>>28216177Harbor Freight always went for max cubic inches with their boxes. It’s respectable because more drawers cost more to make and they go 22” deep while most others go 18”, but they had the worst layout and no power strips or any of that extra stuff that other brands do. Like the Milwaukee boxes were less drawers but there are power tool holders and you can stick M18/M12 chargers on the side of the box. And everybody loves the one fuckheug shallow door for a million screwdrivers or ratchets. With standing socket holders and power tools and specialty tools and blow molded cases, I would prefer smarter design to max space. Harbor Freight was one of the last to do the domed tall top compartment too
Posted it before, but here's my service cart. It has definitely been a nice addition to the shop.
