alright /o/ how'd I do.2016 IS350 F-Sport RWD68K mi$26,500.My goal was a reliable & comfy daily for my 6ft6in ass.
>>28215955>$27k for a v6 goyota with 70k miKEK shoulda got an E30 325i with a huge turbo, E31 850i, E39 530i, E92 or LCI E90 M3 Competition or 335i, F10 M5 Competition, W124, R129, W140, W201, or a 1750 GT Am already LOL goddamn
>>28215955Well one big problem is that it seems to be sideways. I wouldn't try to drive it like that I think it would scuff up the paint.
>>28215955>comfy daily >rubber band tires>"sport" suspensionCringe. This rice is why sedans don't exist anymore.
>>28215955As long as you're happy OP. Don't come here for validation from others as you will be very disappointed.
>>28215966stale copy pasta>>28215980idk why it flipped, I'm on desktop.>>28215981ride quality is extremely good.on par with the Cadillac ATS or 3 series BMWs I've been in.
>>28215995>on par with the Cadillac ATS or 3 series BMWs I've been in.So like shit.
>>28215995Kek, that isn't "pasta," to use the parlance of our times; it's literally a list of cars that are better than the one you got, for the same price or cheaper.
>>28216000Ok except the 1750 GT Am, I just have to have an Italian car on there. A Giulia QV would have sufficed; I hear they're reliable now kek
>>28216005the 2020+ qv is reliable as a daily, pre-20 doesn't have dual injection only direct.
>>28215955Looks very nice
>>28216000it's stale copy pasta of a bunch of unreliable cars.
>>28215955>2016>68k miles>close to $30kNot a bad car, but god damn that should've been $15-20k tops instead. I suppose you'd lose the n/a appeal, but a 330i/Giulia 2.0T/Q50 3.0T in that range would have the same mileage, same year if not newer, be nearly or at least as reliable at this point even being turbocharged, and would all wipe the floor against the IS350 from a performance standpoint despite some of these being the "base" models meant to compete with the IS200.For what you paid, and being 6'+, I'd have bought a B58-powered 540i and thrown a tune at it. Maybe even a newer Giulia with the sport package (LSD+adaptive damping), much lower mileage, and a warranty if you can fit in it. FWIW the B58 is also already a proven rock-solid motor with multiple examples above 200k miles with no issues, so the oft-repeated "Toyota reliability" isn't an excuse to shy away from zee Germans in this case.>tl;dr good jack of all trade car, not terrible in any metric, but you paid the Toyota taxIt's a nice color, it'll last until you get bored of it, and it might even hold it's value for a few more years, I'll give it that much. I'm sure you'll enjoy it regardless even if I do think you got hosed on the price (see picrel, I consider these 'comparable'), that's pretty much my only gripe.
>>28216000No, it's gotta be some of the worst pasta on here, the few simple mods and miata rape pastas are a million times funnier
>>28216055>unironically recommending Alfa Romeoanon, just stop
>Nice Camry anon does it get good fuel mileage
>>28216052Wrong.>>28216057It isn't funny; it's very serious.
>>28215955Congrats, enjoy it>>28216055you really went out of your way to recommend the 3 most unreliable turds on the market
>>28216112>unreliablekek B58 mogs
>>28216121nice check engine light
>>28216112Q50 isn't terrible from a reliability standpoint
>>28215955How do you even check without a test drive, I'm 6'6" and I'm comfortable driving my own FWD Japanese econobox and an A5 Beetle but every once in a while where I'm getting in someone else's passenger seat my knees are in my chest and I would not be able to get in the driver's side period unless I pushed the seat back completely and also tilted it to an absurd unsafe degree.
>>28216121post the vin
>>28215955congratulations, you are the proud owner of a car note. better not lose your job!
>>28216121>CEL>>28216151people buy cars without a test drive?
>>28215955Looks clean and great color choice! Enjoy your ride. I've done a lot of long croozes in an IS350 it is extremely comfy for long drives. You can also comfortably haul shit from home improvement stores in it. I have a deposit in on a Lex right now and I can't wait till it arrives
>>28215955>is350the isf has a v8and costs the sameu fucked up, dumb skelly
>>28215955>2GR-FE V6>RWDblessed vehicle
>>28216217isf are cool, but too old for the reliability I was looking for at nearly 20yrs old.>>28216253part of the reason why I bought it. I know a guy with a Gen 2 MR2, has a full built 2GR in it makes 401 horsepower to the tires all motor.that's around the same as a mild mod'd LS1 or 6.0L LS
