YES, she is a BIG and FAT bitch
YES, she was only ever able to beat muffled and BoP'd to shit Ferrari GT3s
YES, her sole role was to stay the fuck out of the way and be used as a rolling draft mule during the race.

HOWEVER, if you add her to your game I will be forced to buy it.

what’s with mutts wanting to brute force everything?
all they can do is put a massive engine into a shitbox
>>
alright yeah I think mw2012 can blow me, maybe I'll torture myself with it in the future
is rivals any better or should I just fuck off to nfs 2015?

The mustang GT3 is the meta car in iRenting right now. I hate driving that thing because the visibility is so shit

Rivals is better than 2015 by a long shot
Heavy focus on pursuit gameplay (as a cop or racer) and no microceleb BS
2015 is also just a braindead easy game while Rivals can be an actual challenge
Plus the services for Rivals are getting shut down next month so there's a FOMO element
Only downside of Rivals IMO is that it's locked to 30FPS; attempts to hack the game and unlock it made the game run faster. I suppose the lobby tickrate is tied to the FPS and Ghost didn't want to divorce the two for some reason (crossplay, maybe?).
>>
>>28607745
In LMU the car with the worst visibility is the Aston
It also has instability issues at low speed (probably due to its relatively short wheelbase)
A shame because I love the car in ACC
The M4 has the best visibility of all the front-engine cars but I can't stand how it sounds or how huge it is
>>
time to whip it while shit faced ahahahahh God forgive me
>>
>>28607960
cheers, I started rivals a bit after posting that and I'm already enjoying it more just because there's no fucky oversteer

not really enjoying rivals either desu which I kind of expected since I didn't finish hot pursuit
I've concluded that I simply don't like the cops and racers pursuit stuff outside of street racing

Cup90 from NR2003
I'm making the physics not ass fucking retarded because whoever converted these spent way more time kissing Denis Rioux's ass and convoluting the download to please his retarded french-canadian ass than making them not suck to drive. to download these get this: https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/1990-nascar-winston-cup-series.40468/
within the readme for this skinpack you get 5 mediafire links to download each car one at a time. they are so bad and converted so shoddily i thought this must be a joke. they don't even have the right materials, there are baked in car details in the skins that don't line up with the model, there are model details that themselves don't line up with where they're supposed to be, the suspension is physically bent in 4 different directions to try and mimic nascar's asymmetric setups, the thunderbird's body model is offset to the left an entire foot and the pontiac has no engine sound.

every time an assetto corsa modder makes a live rear axle car double bones because he is too fucking stupid to figure the links out an angel falls from heaven. fuck me.

The Daytona Universe carset is found here https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/daytona-universe-du-univ-a-daytona-usa-car-pack-and-a-brief-history-of-the-project.420268/

They'll get Japanese zoomers born and raised in California to do all the voice acting so it sounds as bad as possible
It'll be the same formula as the last 3 games just in a vaguely Japanese themed map
The map itself will be ultra wide roads because PGG refuse to slow down the racing speed where every corner needs to be cleared at 200mph minimum

I'd have to look at it again but I think how it works is the master node sends all the player positions to the slaves and the slaves only send what their control inputs are to the master so in theory it should work fine and just run like it's whatever version the master is running. Effects are all just whatever your local version is though.

I don't like how boat racing games almost never take into stuff like wave form and trim when it comes to boat racing. in real life you have to constantly adjust the trim to get the properprop angle and cut through the waves, otherwise you get slowed down a ton.
funny how GTA 4 and 5 had it but dedicated boat racers usually don't.

speaking of heusinkveld, I just upgraded to the ultimates+. I wanted the silver one but my microcenter didn't have it. it feels a little bit better than the sprints, and the hydraulic dampeners feel nice, especially on the throttle. you can make it pretty heavy, which I find it easier to modulate it that way. only thing thats really fucking gay is the angle of the pedals, they're way too far forward and in the default configuration thats already as far back as they will go. I had to get creative with my pedal plate and now it's in an unsupported position, and it's missing two screws on both sides and I'm not about to drill any holes. I'll probably have to get a proper rig at some point if I run into issues later.

I was about to say you'd think there'd be an upspring of third party mechanics who make cheaper replacement parts and do the job for less, then I remembered the vast majority of Ferrari owners see it as a matter of pride to spend as much money as possible on maintenance.
>>
>>28613492
Ferrari is notoriously litigious
I wouldn't be surprised if all of them have been C&Ded into bankrupcy
>>
>>28613492
There are quite a few independent specialists who are cheaper and more reputable than dealers (who are out to hit sales targets) but Ferrari owners are rich and aren't looking to scrimp and save at some drunk boomers local All Makes Serviced village shop.
>>
>>28613492
Doesn't surprise me since a lot of Porsche owners are like that.

>if I see a single person other than the dealership has touched this car, I'm demanding 50% off of the price
I don't even get it with Porsche since in the realm of supercars and supercar-lites they tend to be the most reliable and usable.
>>
>>28613537
Porsche during the aircooled era openly marketed themselves as a driver's car, the GT/sports car for people who actually care about cars rather than just status. one of the hallmarks of the 911 was that it was simple and easy to maintain. They filled the same niche as the Corvette.

I like gaymin, but I don't like getting gapped by the top 5 and finishing 15 seconds back. I feel like I can't match their fine trail braking and steering on a controller. It could be a git gud issue and they just carry more speed through corners and I'm coping, but trail braking is not easy with triggers.
>>
>>28613739
you will be slower at first if you never used a wheel before, it's not going to make you instantly faster. trail braking is also kind of hard on a basic logitech setup, but doable. i remember when i first switched to wheel I couldn't even keep my car on track, it took me like a month to get used to it
>>
>>28613739
ABS in GT7 is OP. the game literally trail brakes for you. I assume that’s true for controller users too
>>
>opt out of the AssEvo beta
>driving finally feels kino again
they need to fix the retarded tire model downgrade or else I’m done with the game
>>
>>28613764
stefano is trying his best please understand

they weren't able to add weather or night racing in the original AC and came up with excuses like the engine isn't capable of multiple light sources, yet modders found a way without direct access to their source code. AC being successful honestly was just a fluke. ACC was popular for a bit but couldn't hold steam once LMU came out and iRacing improved their GT3 tire model.

I have little faith in ass evo at this point
>>
>>28613757
ABS in my experience just makes you understeer off the racing line and develop bad habits.
>>
>>28613776
it depends on the sim, in GT7 its really broken and should be taken advantage of. while say in iracing, you pretty much never want to activate ABS
>>
>>28613782
Default or weak setting?
>>
>>28613776
>develop bad habits.
only if you're a lazy fag
threshold braking is still faster even with ABS, you should treat it as something to catch your ass if you go overboard not something you rely on every single turn, even if it's just not to listen to your car falling apart when braking

you hit kind of low angles and the car clearly has waaaaaaay more power than a real 86.
that's just normal driving for an ae86 or any lra car in ac tbqh, not to say it doesn't look fun or cool but it's not what i would consider impressive.
i will grant you your consistency looks solid and you read the couple of complex corners well but i also wonder how much you practiced just to do that

Do you like the R3? I'm hesitating between that one and the 5 but I'm not sure if it's worth the 150 euros differences.
>>
>>28613998
Yeah, that 86 has 374 bhp NA, so its not all that hard to control, and I learn new stages by breaking them down into smaller segments and using the replay feature (work smarter, not harder), then I try to complete the entire stage. That clip was the first segment, and even just that was tricky to compress into a fucking 4MB webm without turning into a blurry mess. Anyway, I'm just having fun :)
>>
>>28614012
Yeah, the R3 kit is pretty good, but honestly? Just go for the R5 or R9 already so you won't have to upgrade later. I'm already thinking about selling my R3 and getting the R9, especially for using a deep dish 13 inch or 14 inch wheel.
