I figured out which tribble I want to round out my stable. I had it narrowed down to the XSR900 and Street Triple 765R. It turns out the HP/lb ratios and price are basically identical and the weight difference is only 15lb so I'm going with the one that's prettier and has a better tech package - the XSR900.

on the last couple of rides i've had issues with my engine cutting out on the road. only for an instant but sometime happens a few times in the pace of a few seconds. the engine light on my dash comes on each time

In the winter I wear an occunomix DOT level three visibility cold weather full body over suit

so far i've coped well enough with what i have so far, but i really think i need a pair of waterproof pants (i only have one pair of riding jeans) and more importantly some warmer gloves (something like "autumn" gloves? i don't want full on bulky winter ones i've seen so far in the shops) to more comfortably ride in the offseason, especially here that gets kinda chilly (picrel are the macna i use now, they are basically a sport jersey with leather on palm and some rubber on top)
Any reccomendation? unfortunately there are basically no gear-shops near me and those that are here have pisspoor selection of just a couple of items so i'd have to order online. i was looking at the latest fortnine video about it and really liked all the features of the five SF1 but it's a bit too expensive for me

You don't need waterproof pants, just get rain pants which you pull over your riding jeans. It adds another layer between you and the cold and it 100% keeps the wind out.

Absolute cunts. As someone who's recently had an attempted theft (and another about a year ago) I empathise, although I've been fortunate enough that they've seen my locks and given up. Another guy on my estate wasn't so lucky and they took a hammer to his disc locks (still didn't manage to break them), scratched the bike up, bent one of the clip-ons, and busted the steering lock by the looks of it. Put the chain around the rim and tyre instead and then use the lock to secure the ends together.

Riding is a real skill, but if you are a slowfag doing the speed limit or close to, then you will never progress or learn. In that case, yes, a ten year rider would be equal to a one year, since neither can ride well. You'll see this with braindead boomies telling you how many miles of cock they have sucks over the 12 centuries they have been alive, yet ask them if they can wheelie and its right to dat dere blank boomie stare.

However if you actually ride hard, read how to ride, do drills, and practice the same corners over and over again, there will be a huge difference in skill. Honestly if you just ride hard (like if a corner warns you to take it at 60kmh, but you take it at say 110) for a few months, you'll be better than 90% of the other riders around you who just ride speed limits.

You will of course crash learning that way, but crashes from riding hard are NBD most of the time because you just slide around into whatever bushes or maybe down a barrier on the highway. That explains half of it, but you don't need a hand brake to wheelie unless you are doing them in a position besides sit down, and there is nothing wrong with wearing race boots when doing wholies (most stunters don't even wear gear at all).

Also I feel like death wobbles has no proper way to cure them, everyone gives different advice from more throttle, less throttle, harder grip on the bars, less grip, no grip, do nothing, do something, etc. Has there ever actually been advice from MotoGP guys, and has there even been any actual testing in regards to it?
