You will never be a real R series. You have no I4, you have no V4, you have no revs. You are a commuting roleplayer twisted by tiktok and youtube into a crude mockery of Yamaha's perfection.

All the validation you get is twofaced and halfhearted. Behind your back people mock you. Your parents are disgusted and ashamed of you, your friends laugh at your paralLEL twin performance behind closed doors.

Eventually it'll be too much to bear, you'll buy a rope, tie a noose, put it around your neck, and plunge into the cold abyss. Your parents will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment. They'll bury you with a headstone marked with your engine name, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know an MT-07 is buried there.

This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.

LAR7P was designed to sell using the legendary status of the R6, under any other circumstances it would have been called the MT-07R, but the ultra jews running the show at Yamaha knew it wouldn't sell as well as selling out their R series name for a quick buck.

R3 is jewish as well, BUT there are two reasons its not as completely money grubbing. Firstly, there was no true low CC racing series bike it was attempting to steal glory from to sell more bikes. Secondly, lower CC bikes come with the expectation of being beginner bikes. R3's name is bad, its just that the LAR7P is the most jewish move imaginable, if they pulled a KTM and locked out features behind a paywall it might as well be renamed the Raphael7.
>>

Also the racing varients of the ninja is a ZX, notice the 400ZX is a real supersport.
CBR is none racing, the RR is the racing varient.

Brand worship is for brainless consumers, LAR7P is a commuter bike that has nothing to do with the R series and they intentionally canceled their real supersport the R6 just to trick people into buying LAR7Ps.

Notice that Kawi doesn't run around calling the Ninja 250, 400, or 650 a ZX? Only Yamajew has become so money grubbing that they sell out their own racing brand for a quick buck.
>>
>>28622537
Ah fuck OK I didn't think of that. The unemployed mucking things up makes ALOT of sense.
Call me whatever but I just think Goading aggression from strangers (uncreatively, pro-trolls exempt) is mega gay
>>
The best part is that the copers can't even say they canceled the R6 because it was too expensive to produce, because Yamaha are still making R6's even right now, its just only for track lulmao. The only reason they took the R6 off the market was to screw their customer base with the LAR7P, through using the reputation of the R6 so as to present the expectation that it would be an equal or replacement for it.
>>
>>28622551
you do realize the r6 was taken off the market because of the euro 5 emissions right?
>>
>>28622555
No it wasn't, every single current manufacturer knows how to dodge emissions by just detuning with the ECU/muffler and doing wink wink nudge nudge with their customer base. It was taken off the market to sell more LAR7Ps, and guess what? The slight of hand worked, its selling like hotcakes to tiktokers who don't know better.

Have to wonder if the other brands aren't taking notes, maybe Honda will start selling paralLEL twin CBR700RRRR's for extra profits. Anything for a buck these days, Nips must be desperate now that the EU brands are making better 1000's.

Yeah, gear isn't going to save you from smashing into a steel wall, aka cagies. The only thing gear does is prevent road rash, maybe some strains, its not going to stop blunt trauma from smashing your bones into pieces or internal bleeding. If you aren't into turbo squidding on super sports then its fucking pointless for the vast majority of riders.

I got it as a cheapo version of a sumo to go fuck around with, I'll be slowly turning it into a stunt bike. Its a real nice hooligan bike for fucking around on, hitting the ol jesus christ pose on my way back from work every day. Shes a fun lil rippa, and the amount of gear working you have to do is comical on it, just a basic left turn from stopped needs an upshift kek.

india and chinks batchmake their parts, so maybe you get lucky and theyre going into production now, maybe youre SoL like rebel300anon or shroomer

my dad said to learn how to ride with a little sumo and get used to have a tall bike where i can't flat-foot with even a single feet, then when ready with a tall but light bike i could get whatever i want since any other heavier bike will probably be shorter and thus easy and i should get an F700/F800 GS because rotax twin is second best engine or a BMW r1200r because boxer twin is actually the best engine.

Mom says i should get a small 400/500 ccs modern classic like the triumph scrambler 400/RE guerrilla or an XSR700 because scrambler looking bikes are coolest, the XSR ideally in the vintage yellow livery or getting the tank painted to look like the yellow livery.
Back before i even got my license she was pushing for me to get it and buy a duke because it's so aggressive and cool looking

Both are really happy about my svart as i said before. dad because LC4 is good engine and husqvarna knows how to make real bikes (he had a 701 enduro as his solo bike) and mom because it's a scrambler looking bike

hi-viz is a double edged sword and I say that as a hi-viz guy.

what we're casting is effectively magic spells. we're HOPING that looking like a yellow christmas tree makes people not hit us, but ultimately we're not entirely sure why most retards end up acting like fools on the road. They could be on their phone, in which case hi-viz doesn't help because they aren't looking anyway. Or they could be dumbasses who can't drive their own cars and misjudge something like our speed or their ability to accelerate.

and then there's the other possibility that we're making things worse by lighting up brightly and becoming a victim of target fixation. what would otherwise be normal traffic may end up being the thing everyone gravitates toward because it's the most obvious thing on the road.
>>
>>28623271

There's also been some studies done by OSHA on effectiveness of hi-viz when everything around you is hi-viz on a job site. TLDR, if divers saw hi-viz all the time they would become accustomed to seeing it.

The one thing I noticed while breaking the gloves in was the knuckle area, that was a bit stiff at first, but now it feels as nice as the rest already was, which I wasn't expecting to change. These are my first pairs of hardcore gloves, but they give a lot of nice feedback surprisingly, the part you actually touch the controls with is nice and thin.

>the camera is mostly there for sentimental purposes
Footage looks really nice, beautiful area, is this Cali? God I wished I Cali instead of this frozen shithole Indian colony, year long riding and legal lane splitting....

Also I was going to ask how your footage looks nicer than even the youtubers, but I guess its because youtube bitrate is so trash.

>krauts make their bikes to work to their maintenance schedules, and if you dont adhere to them, you might kill your bike
One thing that the Beemerwaffen and Mister Harley David-san get much more right than the Japanese makers, at least in the US, is dealer support. If you're on a long ass tour and something goes wrong, there will always be a dealership nearby to get you fixed up and back on the road. On a Japanese bike you might get one closed-four-days-a-week dealership within 200 miles, that also services jetskis and ATVs with shit awful parts availability. That's a big part of why I picked the RS over trying to 7000 miles on my old VFR. (The rest was battery vampire issues and randomly dying on idle at stoplights.)

From what I understand they’re some of the cheapest full gauntlets you can get with kangaroo skin palms, main reason why I bought them.
My first pair of gloves I got were goat leather but I always felt like I was fighting the gloves, when I got a new pair I went for something a bit better for daily riding and got some deer leather which feel incredible but are very very thin and not ideal for canyon riding.
> is this Cali?
Angeles Crest Highway, probably my favorite road for a hybrid of scenic and fun riding. Really incredible, would love to come here more often if it wasn’t a 100+ miles away
> its because youtube bitrate is so trash.
Precisely, I used do the upscale to 4K for a better bitrate trick but it’s too much of a hassle for such little benefit

Suzuki ez. Suzuki's last 20-something years have been all about sleeping and making one mid sized parallel twin platform plus updating their old engines to be emission standard compliant.

Five years ago I would have said no but these days... maybe? The Panigale V4 will torch anything Japanese except maybe a Fireblade or a Hayabusa (in a straight line lol). Off road the GS is great but Honda and Yamaha ADVs are competitive, as are Honda and Suzuki dualsports.

VT1100 has hydraulic lash adjusters so no valve clearance needed at all and is also shaft driven so even less maintenance for a bike. It's biggest weak point is being slow af for a big honking heavy 1100cc bike. There's trims with disc brakes in the rear so a brake job is easier than drum, 30 minutes front and rear easy. After that it's just oil change, shaft drive oil change, air filter, and spark plugs, there's stories on boomer forums if the VT1100 doing 200k+ miles

No this is just bs.
Majority of bikes(above 125cc) you will see in Europe will be big 4. You will have flareups of like BMWs in Germany, but even there the amount of Japanese bikes is enormous.
A lot of it has to do with the used market though, I suspect the Japanese aren't as dominant as they were around 2000 when it comes to newly sold motorcycles though. On the low end they're undercut by the Chinese, meanwhile the entry level circa 400cc has been heavily attacked by euro companies often with bikes outsourced to India(BMW's 300's, KTM Duke 390 which started this attack, Triumph Speed 400's etc), on the mid range they're still very strong tho.
High end doesn't matter when it comes to perception of market dominance. For every GS1300, 4 Transalps will be sold. That being said if it's 2000 and you'd ask a kid about a dream motorcycle it would be hayabusa because it's the fastest but nowadays euro litre bikes will make it run for its money. That is a huge shift, the Japanese used to be completely dominant in performance they aren't anymore.

BMW boxers. Aside from universal stuff (tire, oil, brakes, clutch&brake fluid) it's just shaft fluid every other year.

I ONLY trust japaneese research, engineering, and manufacturing, that shit will never change until i die. You would have to work with a japaneese man to understand their level of commitment to anything, its literally foolish to buy non japaneese and untill that country is destroyed no other country will match them in quality or anything really.

Sport bike has some compromises for everyday riding/comfort. Designed from the ground up for real world riding in mind. Sometimes Called Open Class sport bikes.

Super sports on the otherhand are homologation specials (most of the time) and are essentially uncompromising race bikes with lights to make it street legal. Some would argue displacement is what differs a SB from a SS but I disagree.
>>28623279
Shaft driven honda CB of your flavor of displacement. If you want cheaper cost to fix in event of failure then the nighthawk is chain driven.

Sakai (generally speaking) is focus, determination, perseverance.
It's mentioned within Japanese literature every now and then.

Sakai is the way of the samurai, Yamaha can keep its Kando. Honda went a different way.

The rough translation of Sakai is Border, Boundary, or Frontier.

It originates from the Sakai Clan of samurai. I bet there's a true-weeb/nipp that can do a better service elaborating the essence of Sakai but it's an enlightened state of mind.

Honda has achieved Sakai, due to their relentless and consistent pursuits to Engineering integrity. You can give honda shit for making same-same bikes but you can't knock em for how well they stand the test of time against the reaper of the hourglass.
