I hate redditdads so much bros.
>>
>>28649790
this is such a forced argument lol
that sedan was driving across a sidewalk and instead of covering front brakes and slowing down to avoid the vehicle he just pinned throttle into his right-of-way instead of being defensive. why are you yelling at a brick wall, that was very clearly avoidable, at minimum he could have lessened the impact had he used any caution or been aware of a car being on a fucking sidewalk next to his path of travel

There is nothing to argue, you conjure up imagination realities where you already know everything in advance and would be prepared and 100% alert. The actual truth is that you would be zoned out in your boring everyday commune, react late, slam brakes, and hit in the exact same way. Only redditdads do this larp because they never actually have to test their reactions in any meaningful way, the difference between expected and unexpected events are world's apart.
>>
>>28649810
round 2 of personal attacks instead of explaining how it's "literally impossible to notice a vehicle doing highly unusual maneuvers over a sidewalk literally feet from your lane you're about to accelerate towards". okay bye I guess, you clearly have no argument other than making a bunch of assumptions about a stranger. have a nice day friend!

Man I saw a kid crushed by a truck and did a fundraiser with my college car club for gim and he was supposedly paralyzed permanently then fully functioning after 8months. I was kinda pissed because the kid was retarded on his little drz.
>>
>>28649816
Its not impossible, but I'm saying you would never do it. Whenever someone acts like everything has an out, that they would always perform the correct moves in the moment, that they would never panic, they would never make a mistake, these are the people who freeze up the hardest when the spotlight comes on. The lack of self-awareness you showcase translates directly to awareness when the moment comes. Larpking, the redditdad special.
>>
>>28649804
I like how basically all his race research for the 250r and 300r basically ended up being the go to for tuning the two engines on all platforms. Grom guys have taken the money pit further though. The cbr300r he runs is on a 301cc bore without the super bored 43mm intake and doesn't even use the velocity stack and airbox fixes people now understand.

I hope nothing bad happens to my bike when I leave it lifted to drive an hour away to get the tire changed. Leaving something disassemble in an apartment parking lot makes me feel uncomfortable. Least I have a lift and the tire has already shown up to cyclegear.

I think I cheated myself out of the HD experience, showed up and test rode a Pan America instead of a traditional Harley.
Honestly it kind of let me down, the throttle response was really weird and it had an awkward power curve. It might have just been the TCS but it felt like peak torque would change spots and rolling on the throttle was a diceroll on whether I’d get the power or not
It handled very impressively tho, very comfortable and the brakes were really nice.

IMO if I had a window where I could always see it, I would point a 24/7 Camera at it. Maybe even put a ring doorbell camera on the outside of the window. That way, the microsecond anyone tried, you would have everything you would need to make an insurance claim and a police report in less than ten minutes.

I live in a complex in a nice neighborhood next to Davidson college. Not only do I constantly get asked about my bike by passerbys when I work on it but every Hispanic sits around drinking next to where I park which is the most level area in the lot but also the one with a gutter.
Rebel300 needs tire, debating taking the thing to work again but with everything in place I really REALLY don't want anything to happen to it before the replacement.
>>
>>28649931
It really does sound like you need either doorbell camera watching it or you need to start ninja-parking it someplace else and just learning to walk a little ways. The latter is the safest option. See if you can find some shithole shed or parking garage and just stuff it into a hidden space
>>
>check when my dampener will be here
>they added another 5 days of delivery time
Never ordering anything from fortnine again. They don't even offer an express shipping option either. Everything about this country is shit.

>>28649930
Yeah, should be easy to keep track of who is whom here. Shoulder is unrelated to the road rash thoughever. I was also the guy you were mad at in the Group B thread for riling up all the cagies.
>>
>>28649933
And if that doesn't make you feel better or you feel there is no place you can do that long-term, just do it for the trip out of town. It can stay at a friend's house or at a shop for one night. Go to any motorcycle shop in town and just ask to park it there for a fee, they won't care.
>>
>>28649933
It has sat a year in the same spot but the issue is more kids trying to sit on it. Post putting a locked cover on it this isn't an issue. Anyone who knows bikes won't steal a rebel300 but...

I don’t think it’s a disappointment, if I had the chance to turn off ride modes and just go full raw engine feel I’d probably have had a blast. And no valve checks is amazingly appealing for a 150hp engine. If it wasn’t for all the electronics I could easily see myself owning one later in life.

>if I had the chance to turn off ride modes and just go full raw engine feel I’d probably have had a blast.
They put those on so you don't do that, and that's the sad fact of the matter: These ride-by-wire bikes COULD be the greatest thing ever if it gave the user choice, but they don't, they are made specifically to restrict your choice because if you had options they would have to follow rules and regulations, these are made to skirt those by limiting its power to comply with faggy emissions laws. They aren't going to give you raw power and that's what disappoints people about nu-harley in general.

Even /dbt/ has a couple of them now, and if it weren't for the fact this appears to be the fastest thread on the board, it would fall fiction to "OH NO NO NO DINOSISSSIES, WE'RE LOSING TO E-BIKES AND ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES!!! I got a 2009 RSV4 Factory with a ride by wire and in race mode it feels plenty raw powerful to me. I also have a carbed GSX-R750 from the 80s where the cable goes direct to the slide carbs from your wrist, very smooth and buttery. I think both are fine. Its about how u dial it in.

When i was trying to find the power sneed map online, a prevoous year zx14r had a single yoshi tune and compared to thr stock one it had alot more 13.4+ conpression mapped into the lowest rev ranges after idle until about 3k rpm, then it was flooded for a few blippuly boxes depending on throttle position and then as rpm climbed it returnes more to a baselibe of 13.2 or so compressions

So when i looked at stock map for my bike, remember how performance was with stock pipes and these new cans, i cant help but wonder id tryinf to emulate than and maybe a retry the mapping to see if itll render better low end smoothness

Apart from that all i can think of else to do would be full sprocket and chain swap to fresh, get a new hiflow airfilter, and retune custom on a dyno when all those things are fully stretched/broken in and ready to go, and then see if low end tuning is still necessary

But i like my baik bros, its fun to ride
