I got my Transalp 700 from 2008. I did some repairs but I broke the screw maintening the fuel tank lid and it fell into the tank... and the screwthread is fucked up now... It's been 1 month now, can it be harmful for the bike if I keep it within? I tried to disassemble the whole tank but the screw seem to be stuck somewhere. I don't want to remove the gas pump and the gasket, at least not for now beacause it's a pain in the ass. I've already fixed the gaugle within the tank which was loose (a known issue from this model) and I don't want to put back this fuckin' gas pump again (I've almost damaged it the first time...)
