For the love of God, can ALL of you stop being fags for 2 seconds? This general is hardly noticeable anymore given how little bike talk there is now. It's just dick measuring contests and retarded fringe politics that nobody gives a fuck about.

I live in Florida and will probably have to do the same thing. I got a mesh jacket from Alpinestars on sale for like $150 and while I don't think I got ripped off, it's heavy, not as breathable as it looks, and desu I think this thing would fall apart in a slide. The only advantage is sewn-in shoulder, elbow, back protectors but I can get those on these base layers and have space left over for an airbag. The airbag probably providing the most protection out of any of this. Then a random cheap leather jacket I get from Thursday can fit over it.
>>

I broke one of the plastic thingies next to the headlight bouncing off a bus, and the replacement (plus a mirror) was like tree-fiddy. But the *decal* kit to put a new sticker on the plastic was several hundred. Peeled off the remaining stigger to make it look right.

Cb300r does 7 and the rebel also does 7. Both have the same gearing but different intake designs. Cbr and cb300f had the better 0-60 even with no torque.
Cbr500r and cb500f do mid 5s 0-60 on average when people tested them. It is what it is, probably just bad rider or bad gearing for the weight for getting it to move from stop.

Cbr300r and cb300r are different bikes anon, ai makes the same mistake but the cb300r despite weighing less has a less aggressive cam and intake designs. Still the numbers are within the 6s but the rebel on the same exact cams gets a reported 7.2s-8s 0-60 while only weighing 50lb more.

God the ai is so busted. To post findings people have had that aren't cbr300r, the best 0-60 for the rebel is 7.2s stock, cb300r was 6.6s(it also makes more torque and has better mpg slightly in forum posts but that is more hearsay). engines use the same cam and timing but the air fuel ratios are different. Rebel uses a stupidly long velocity stack as the thai tuners have come to work around, similar to crf300 tuners realizing the intakes choke the engine a lot past 40mph. Unfortunately the cbr300r tuning of ari's day really only means something to grom swapers and the crd guys keep trying to use cbr intakes instead of just velocity stack swaps.
Kinda like my shitbike rebel but turning this version is a huge pain in the ass even if the engines accessible because there isn't many tuning options for home and I would need a shop.

Thinking about striple 765 again… apparently it’s easy to just throw Daytona fairings on it since they share a frame
But I can’t get a good consensus on reliability, everywhere I read online I can’t find anyone with significant mileage on one. They all have 10,000 miles or less and say they take it to the dealer to get everything done.
I understand it’s a newer bike so not a lot of people have *had* to work on it but it’s crazy to me that none of these people have anything to say about it!!!!
I’ve heard from some owners that the valves are rarely out of spec despite the small interval and I’ve heard from other owners about totally faultless major engine malfunction. I’d never buy anything new so I’m really apprehensive on getting something that isn’t proven bulletproof but it feels like triumph owners don’t actually want to prove that. Frustrating.
It’s all worry for nothing I guess, my bike has a very long life ahead of it so I’m not very worried about having to get something new so soon.
>>
>>28664167
From what I understand there's a range of years when they had specific electrical issues and if you someone already went through a daytona or speed triple in the past he will just know what to replace or check after buying but someone who doesn't know won't know until they break and then it'll be frustration time.

My first and 2nd vehicles were bikes, rain or shine, winter or summer for 8 years before I picked up a station wagon and eventually an MX5. 9 Years later I still have the MX5, 250 and another litre. If you do get a car, get one with an emphasis on utility.

Makes sense, if I do get one it would only be for the ability to transport goods and people. Funnily enough, I never even saw myself as the type who would get a motorcycle. While it was and remains fully legal and defined in the handbook, they really had to dig through their stuff to figure out how to make it happen.

Why is Honda the only one that can do the retro design right? Suzuki's design is either really good or ugly as sin, something between melted candle and melted dick.

fucking LAMOOOOOOOOOOO, be honest though, youve never turned a wrench in your life. not even trying to be a cunt just curious. like what makes a man think this riced out shit is okay, imagine if it was real. it would be 4x pipes at about 2" in diameter, thats 8 inches of cross sectional area, theoretically that could flow like 2500hp, in reality its just 4 little scooter pipes in there though and youre fine with it. My question is how.

Ugly and no character. It has no soul in its design. Nothing about this bike looks memorable. I think about the classic R1, RC51, 996, k5 GSXR, or a S1000RR or many other bikes. Or even the Dukes or RCs, they have their own look, this looks very generic and cookie cutter but ugly. Old good looking Yamahas are dead, except for T7 and a few other bikes.

Sixty miles use now. Speedo broke on the way. Wire lose on the front wheel. KM counters never worked though, trip counter can't be reset. Needle bouncy. Might replace with an MPH model if I can find one.

Headlights and rear lights stopped working and battery stopped charging as I have to push start it now. And found a little oil leak in the gear box, which might explain the previous owner's gift of two bottles of gear oil.

Shop can fix. I bought it to fix myself but I could be frigging around for weeks and seeing as I want two new tires anyway they can do the rest.

He bought the pre-2016 edition that would blow the gasket head from getting too hot, was fixed, he should have focused on upgrading the cooling. Shame because the 2015 version was the best looking with the ultra tidy exhaust, after that they went to the typical uggo asymmetric side cannon like the nips.

Its only now, previously it was European, and it still technically is, however it is likely more will be shifted to India in the future.

I'm still in my lurk phase, but when I see people arguing over some of these high speed bikes and if they are good or not, is it really common for everyone arguing about them to not actually own said bike, or even one of it's competitors? Or to have experience racing them? How do you know who's full of shit? Ask for lap times?

Honda Sabre is such a sick ride, way ahead of its time and is still a fast bike compared to modern bikes, it's a 40 year old design, Honda was way ahead of the curve then.
>>
>>28664739
It's called benchracing and happens with cars too. The fastest benchracers are the slowest IRL because they lack the experience required to know being fast is less about the bike and more about the skill
>>
>>28664739
Also, bikes are so fast, the marginal differences between one bike to another is meaningless outside of the track. On top of that, the majority of anons can't max the handling of a Grom anyways, so benchracing is all we have
