heres the subforum for posting want to buy: https://www.nc700-forum.com/forums/bikes-parts-wanted.34/
the guy who used to sell them is "HONDABIKEPRO" I think his real name is kevin but I might be misremembering. Judging by his posts he sold his last ones in 2021 and decided material costs increases after covid made them not worthwhile.
The plate is really great, so I hope you can find one. Much much easier to strap things to the back after costco runs eg case of diet coke vs the seat.

Thank you anon, saved for later.

Btw wtf is that shoddy seat work? Did you try to win the ugliest bike competition?
>>
>>28715559
Originally it was just meant to be a stop gap because the seat was falling apart from use, so I gorilla glued this cut out of a rubber door mat to it to cover the holes. However, to my surprise, it is EXTREMELY comfortable. I think it is sort of copying those old bead seat covers which were supreme for long distance.
I need to trim up the glue so it's not so ugly, but I have no desire to buy a new seat now. This picture was taken quite a while ago now, I've had a few thousand miles this way.

Now its just nobike posting and winterposting and im pretty sure if i dont fix my chain slack im not gonna be riding soon because of snow

But thankfully the canadian governemt has now appropriated my garnished garnishings and canadapost unfucjed its head out the ass so im gonna see what they give me and decide if its worth fixing up the bikes, solding them, and then leave this forsaken shithole while my dollar still has 10% of its purchasing power from last quarter

It's over for Slowzuki
Their most popular engine is 26 years old and this whole patform includes just one bike. They also only have one beginner bike which is 250cc and oil cooled

Imagine if Yamaha made a CP2 26 years ago and only managed to make a Tracer by now.
>>
>>28716144
The 1000 platform bikes are great but the gx is too expensive and isn't better than the big twins and triples anywhere apart from 100mph highway cruising.
Honda has the best lineup by far. Yamaha has the best engines. Kawasaki is green. Suzuki just is.
>>
>>28716144
The gsxr750 is a great bike but it's insanely overpriced for how outdated it is. Been in production for 15 years now, unchanged.

They really could give a few updates for that kind of pricing. Touring bike with no cruise control? The fuck?

Best lineup is a bit of a stretch to say, they have more bikes for sure.

Why would anyone buy a CB650 over an XSR900?
>>
>>28716153
It costs 13k brand new.
R9 costs $12,500.
R7 costs $9,200.
And the Gixxer has more power than both. Although the R9 is still better as a street bike.

And then there's a Honda 600RR - $12,500 with ABS. And in US that's an old model from 2013.
>>
>>28715719
>>28715741
My Honda vt1100c2 can only do 6500 but its power does hit like a car with peak torque at 2700 and power at 4700. Peak torque at 2700 means about 37 hp at 10mph and 67 hp at 30mph but it loses a lot of steam after 70mph. Gear 2 tops out at 60mph but it runs out of top end horsepower by 50mph, needs a shift to 3rd to make 60+, is a 5 speed but gear 3 is the 1:1 ratio and 5 is od2

148km/h but i checked with gps and the difference to real speed is not that big, might have been 143 real.
to be honest i wasn't even trying, you reach 120 right under the top torque/hp revs in 6th gear so while overtaking some sketchy cagers it quickly jumped to that. i didn't want to try reach the claimed top speed of 160 because it was very dark and there where a lot of people on the highway.

It’s just a restyled ADV with street tires, which has proven itself the most comfortable way to ride a motorcycle for great distances.
My feeling from friends abroad is that the “all the dirt all the time” aesthetic that we so love in America with the jeep and bronco etc that has made ADVs so popular is sort of getting tired in international market, but the actual performance of those machines on the street is still very appealing.
You also see Harley understand this with the bifurcation of the RA1250 into dirt and street lines, the Suzuki tall rounder, there’s a bmw with the same design choice I forget the name… a few others. I think it’s going to replace the old sport tourers which are sort of clinging on to dear life by a thread

>China will win
Those fucks can't because the authoritarian nature of Chang will never respect the autonomy of the workers who build the machines.

Japan and America and most of Europe can make incredible high value long lasting goods because the workers have the autonomy to correct any mistakes on a given production item.

The Chinese? You speak up you dissappear or risk a dent in social credit. Therefore they will always be a half baked hive mind collective instead of a full fledged engineering marvel like the free world.

Is dbt going to respect me for buying an older NC750X with DCT?
>>

tracks (some) have noise limits
you get black flagged if you exceed it , providing you pass tech inspection
(((Laguna seca))) is one of the worst

Have you seen an older fart on a dirt bike riding hills? I didn't and you didn't as well. So every time I read a post about a dirt bike I know it's a zoomer kiddo talking and automatically ignore everything what he said.
>>
>>28716738
retarded esl
i'll spell it out simpler for you

firstly, why would anyone be riding a drz on track
and secondly, why if theyre on track with a drz would they care about noise levels

Come on, anon. Now concentrate, you don't want to treat your new bike that way.
>>
How is Suzuki Hayabusa as a first bike?
>>
>>28716766
It's okay, but kinda slow and it's like the nigsan altima of the bike world.
You'll be seen as a poorfag/hoodnigga rising one.
Consider a Kawasaki H2 Ninja instead, much more manageable and not an embarrassment.
>>
>>28716766
Imo it's better as a 2nd bike. Then you won't cry much when it drops.
>>
>>28716774
You are joking, but I was asking seriously. Obviously it's a cult bike that I always admired it, but now I have drivers license and can buy it (they are not particularly expensive as well). However I'm not sure if i should.
>>
>>28716781
I vote 2nd bike. Get the hang of twisting throttles and general balancing and then go for it dude. If it's your forever bike and you want it then so long as you respect the machine and know your limits and leave your ego at the doorstep before every ride then a busa is comfy.

It really depends if you know how to act and keep yourself under control. If you're impulsive and got something to prove then enjoy the early death

Have you ridden a moto?
Are you prepared to drop the busa if youre indeed nooblet?
If not, why are you choosing the supershoomer?
>>
>>28716796
Why do you talk about dropping a bike like it HAS to inevitably happen?
>>

for highways - yes. city streets - no.

serious questions: what caused the crash in the 2nd video? at 04:05

>>28716179
And in this one? at 2:00 minutes
>>
>>28716806
Because it just does man, one day you'll forget the kick stand or stall from a stop into 90 degree turn, or any other random silly moment. It just happens when you're new. I can't think of a single rider who hasn't tipped their bike at some point during their rider journey.
>>
>>28716810
depends on the roads you are riding on
>>
>>28716806
Crashing is a fun but expensive hobby that i do enjoy but cannot fulfill becahse it is also expensive
And the question was tangibke to the nooblet aspect, but i havent dropped ny cbr600f4i until the very last minute i traded it becahse buddys driveway was like 45 incline
Havent dropped the zx14r either
The vfr800 only tumbled at standstills cause its pigfat, but the zx14r seems to have lower center of fravity and i can manhandle its heavier weight better than i did the vfr which is kinda weird
Idk maybe its to be expected if he has no riding experience on the supershoomer because one careless mistake could be a shitstorm of consequences whereas a tw200 is so gutless nothing would happen

Also anything can kill you, especially jannids
>>
>>28716814
Too much front brake on a slippery road.
>>
>>28716824
bro if I can go 30+mph on paved road I will be happy, considering I can average 15mph average on a good day, and 30 in a short sprint

or should I go for a naked, and keep offroad for my manual push bike so I dont kill the enjoyment of riding offroad
