yeah do apparently if you put an exhaust on it you have to use an EJK or power commander to change injection ratios. if i got a stock one, i don't think i'd ever dump that much money into it, but it does make the bike more powerful so i've been looking at bikes that already have it done. otherwise it's north of a thousand bucks. even more with the header.

I commute on my '22 390 adventure. It's a little small for 6'4".I haven't had any major issues with it mechanically, other than the stock chain (it was garbage that wore out right away) the hardware (a lot of it isn't quality and they shake loose a lot without loctite) and the shift drum position sensor started coming loose and killed the engine on me a few times until I figured out the cause. If you don't have a record of not showing up, then chances are they're not going to hammer down on you as much as someone who has 10 speeding tickets, never paid them, and never showed up for them. I was thinking more along the lines of 2008 BMW Z4 M. Trying to nab one at $25k or less.

I've kinda liked the 370Z for a while, but it seems they're regularly clapped out hard on their 6th owner and/or 187,000 miles, or a pristine example for $35k that is slower than everything else in the $35k range. Same thing with a bunch of 300ZXs. Turbo ones are overpriced. Non turbo 2+2 are fairly cheap but I know a couple guys that had one and they confirmed theres zero room for power addons, and they're fragile without much headroom.

Ideally I want a hard top coupe, 2 door liftback or hatch, inline 5 or 6 cylinder, manual, RWD, and decent repairability and aftermarket, and okay power headroom. I'm not dropping a turbo kit on something year one.

We're going into winter and i still have the itch to buy a bike and ride knowing full well I wont ride at all during winter...fml
After doing some research on the Guzzi V7 850 Euro5, i have come to the conclusion that the bike is maxed out from the factory.
They increased throttle body and airbox size, and the only difference from the V85TT are the heads.
Only thing that could get you power is messing with the lifters and more aggressive cams.
It makes 64hp to the wheel and guzzi claims 65hp. With a shaft drive which is about a 12-15% loss its making 77hp at the crank.
But no dual analog on the special.
