I've test ridden a Voge 800 Rally in Spain. You can't make this shit up but it broke down as I was turning back into dealership parking. >>28775118This is just IIRC but I think the reason they took away six gears on the more powerful 250 was because the six gears let people take the bike way faster than Yamaha felt a Serow was comfortable cruising at, you can get 80 if you wring it out. Which sucks because the XT would be a perfect commuter bike with six gears, the thing gets 100 MPG and weighs less than most scooters. They effectively surrendered to Honda and the CRF by taking its six gears out to just make a camping bike.
Have I mentioned recently that the CRF 300L Rally is effectively God's Bike? Because the CRF 300L rally is God's Bike and can take you literally anywhere you can imagine.
