The bike with this battery on will come out this quarter; we'll soon know if it is fake or not.

Vaporware. If this was the real deal the big corpos would've already bought the company for the patent and killed the product.

This. If that patent is real and they can actually produce batteries with those performance characteristics then the patent is worth more than their entire company. The fact that their largest shareholder hasn't accidentally committed suicide to the back of the head with a shotgun and their estate hasn't decided to sell the company to [insert large automaker here] is proof enough that the batteries have some fatal flaw to them or aren't actually manufacturable.

whatever moosefucker

It seems the battery was born out of patents from the aerospace/defence sector (they have an ESA contract), so it may be government-protected.

The battery is not from the guys making the motorcycle, it's from a company called Donut Labs, which itself is apparently working on technology developed by a company called Nordic Nano Group:
https://www.nordicnano.co/
The same technology is being used in drones and bigger vehicles, apparently.

It's possible that it is not secret enough for it to be kept completely under wraps, but valuable enough strategically the Finnish state/EU will not let foreign companies buy it.

Companies after government grants, especially in green businesses (read: graft & corruption) will say absolutely whatever it takes to get funding. Bullshit until proven otherwise.
>>
>>28797394
Fake until proven gay.

>full discharge are safe
??? and then what, sit on the side of a road and pray someone has a gas/diseal generator with input adapter to give you power?
>>
>>28797855
It means you won't ruin the battery by going below 10-20% consistently, or above 80%.

I don't tolerate people who are too stupid to spend 2 minutes reading about something they want to comment on.
