Daily Learner Bike Thread - proper learner bike edition
Picrel, a proper learner bike

>the essential daily learner bike thread
This thread is for real learner riders, who want to make learn properly on a 600 or higher. The other thread is for advanced literbikes of 900cc minimum edition.

>Bikes under 900cc - learner success bikes
>Learner Motorcycle tricks, like wheelies, stoppies, and how to ride a bike with more than 40hp.
>Learner gear advice from successful bike chads: you don't need gear if you don't fall off

>Learner Motorcycle Success discussion with literchads, their prospects, and one permaseething chameleon tranny - Who has never posted bike or hand. Never.
>Pulling on strings attached to manifest better cornering in the universe
>600 is the recommended learner bike minimum don't let cowards tell you otherwise

>All Scooters have accepted new life in the scooter pit, and yes 125's are just scooters.
Just to clarify, 125's are scooters/mopeds.
For those who have not got the memo, 125's shaped like bikes are indeed scooters.

ZXR250, AKA the ZX2R in yankidoodle-land.
>>28806982
Depends on the model, depends on the year.
For instance, my ZXR250A (1990), the tank intakes blast directly onto the regulator and of the engine, the intake was actually a NACA duct on the side - common on the 90's models. Subsequent models plumbed into the box.

Old fazers are slept on as learner bikes, they are comfortable, and have the old 600cc thundercat engine.

I'll admit to being rather... confused the first time I took the tank off my 250. To their credit, that rectifier got fucking hot - even heatsinked against the thikk ally frame.

No, exact same bike. Available colours are shit tho. It's ether light baby blue, Pastel grey, or black. Don't like the blue. Can't decide between black or grey.
>>

Black. Primer Grey is an aberration.

Posting the slept on learner bike.
You can pick these up for fuck all, and embarrass other learners who are on zx6r's etc by being fast AF.

Posting another cheap and decent learner option.
A bit slower than a fzs, and a fair bit slower than a regular 600 like a zx6r or cbr etc, but a solid contender.

Here we have one of the more "standard" learner 600's, albeit a 636.
These can be bought cheap and are a fantastic bike, which you will not be bored of in a day

What if there IS a log of petrified jeet poo in the exhaust, and the first time you start the engine, the log fires out of the exhaust and penetrates into someone else's bumhole?

Continuing with the standard learner bike options, this one comes in two flavours. 600 for normal learners, 750 for natural biker type learners.
Cheap to buy, great bike and now forming part of the new sticky.

Given the depreciation of most national currencies right now, I'm not sure there will be much of an option left in another decade. Maybe the Chinese? I dunno, perhaps that's too reductive, but I just made myself depressed typing this out.

>>28807154
buy locally. An all American Harley, or a Triumph if Brit, Ducati if spaghetti monster etc
