>>28841631the challenger was intended from the beginning to have a convertible variant, which is specifically why the seatbelt loom doesnt go all the way up the b-pillar. it is really gay they had a third party do it and it costs an entire v6 chally to lop the roof off of a hellcat AND you have to go to Florida to have it done.
Whats up losers.

I hit 170 a couple days ago. The car is surprisingly planted at those speeds. Frighteningly so. It felt like I was doing 80mph
I've always had some interest in challengers, but I've seen online that most models have transmission and electrical issues. Is this something any of you have seen on your or anyone you know's cars?
>>28843287ZF8 transmissions are excellent.
>>28843287the ZF8 service interval is something like 80k but I changed my fluid at 180k and it was clear as water.the older 5-speed wa580 can be clunky and slow to shift but is very reliable.the tr6060 manual is allegedly somewhat notchy with the factory fluid."Electrical issues" usually arise from people trying to add on fog lights, audio, or rice, when the battery gets low the BCM is like a German car and freaks out if it doesn't have enough juice to complete a self-test. Random sensors can go bad, I've had to replace my crank position sensor once, but it was very easy to do. mopar vehicle systems in general can be weird due to the high level of parts sharing which, aside from making the cars highly modifiable and easily repaired, can cause weird glitches such as head units forgetting what brand of car they are installed in temporarily. LX-body cars don't require PROXI alignment like Fiat-derived cars so when electrical problems happen it is a minor inconvenience most of the time rather than a trip to the dealer.

r8 my photoshop mockup for potential end goal of the 1966 barracuda i bought as first project just bcus running driving slant 6 for cheap-ish and they have a good rep and i am a complete novice.its me trying to reimagine the 1966 facelift if it wasnt low sales panic. requires a 1965 donor which is fine bcus it'd save ten gorllion hours of rust and damage repair mine is super rough. Also needs some 3d print bits but i can do that.
>>28846083larp/10Why is over half of this thread the V6autist responding to himself?
>>28846089>slant 6>v6also yes it is full larp but i like it

>>28842246That's not a hemi, or a dart, or even a dodge, genius. Jesus Christ...
>>28843287late model challengers have reliable transmissions and electricals. They don't have the earlier lifter problems either. Your real ownership risk is getting targeted for car jacking.
