I do go on the highway for hours at a time to get to camp sites. If you live in the burger reich I would not recommend the 350 and you should get the 650.

Yes. But unlike women, there's little drama for having more than one or trying a few to see what you'd rather ride.

Although I will say, my first bike was a CBR 600 F4i. Terrible first bike. But I didn't kill myself on it, and the more I rode it, the more I liked it. Had to sell the first one when it got a rod knock. I bought one just like it a few years down the road, but by that point I had gotten into a stable long-term relationship, and to be honest, crotch rockets just don't hit the same when you actually have something to lose.

I have since discovered the joy of fully analog sport standards, which are definitely fast enough on the street to be exciting, but all else being equal you're going notably slower so you might just live if you've been one being the hooligan you are.

this is why my girlfriend doesn't want me to learn. As a britbong you have* to start on a 125 or pay a shit load to jump to a full license. But there is inherent risk and most drivers in the UK are absolutely fucking legitimately retarded.
>>
>>28874653
>inherent risk
Yeah. There's an inherent risk to driving, walking, living amongst shitskins, ect. Everybody draws the line on risk differently. Thankfully my girl grew up riding horses so she understands the concept of doing everything right but still possibly just fucking dying for something completely outside your control.

>drivers retarded
I haven't heard of a single place on the planet where people don't say this. Have you? Just keep your guard up. People will merge into you sometimes, it's not a big deal, just hit the brakes or zoom around.

i know what you mean but there are those gimmicky helmets meant to look like the ones of modern fighter jet pilots that also get that moniker as well.

I'm interested, but waiting for more people to ride and review it. The poor ground clearance is a major concern. As an offroader, the bike seems to be objectively mogged by the Ibex 450 and Himalayan 450. The difference of course is it's Japanese, and not chinkslop or jeetshit. I also think it *looks* great.

It would be my first ADV bike yes
my main use for it is probably for city ride, like to go to eat taco, grab coffee or lunch , somewhere that is too far that I cant go in my 125 scooter
I'm also eyeballing most other japanese mid size adv, maybe NC750x, X-ADV and Chinks Ibex or Zontes 552G/703f
atm I got 125 scoots, a chink 350maxi (will probably swap this if I do get new bike)
couple of dirt bikes like DT50 and MTX125
and a hand me down v-rod that i dont ride cause its a chore to ride and pain to find a parking spot in city
as much as I really like Zontes and CFmoto
I dont know if I want to double down on another chink deprecation bike tax
T7 is another one I might like but I'm scared its going to be another garage queen like the rod
desu this whole saga is just me having a buyer remorse and second guessing myself after buying chink maxi

Brain tumor cost me my license, looking to get a District / CE02 / Anthem / I Am. for trips to doc appointments that are in-area (leaning toward the I AM. solely for its aesthetics, but I like the district as well. BMW seems decent because I’ve owned a lot of their vehicles / analogues over the years. All else is a complete unknown to me. (Based on what I’ve read none require a license to use on-road. Classified as “mobility enhancers” or some shit).

Can’t find any that are reasonably priced within a 100 mile radius on a dying guys lack of income.
Suggestions? Sale offers?

P.s.
see a doctor at least one a year bros, could pay you back in spades if there’s ever “something clearly wrong”. If due diligence on your part isn’t done beforehand it’ll take doctors five fuckin’ years to figure out what’s wrong, and even then they’ll shrug when it comes to fixing it.

Peptides and a trip to Mexico bro.
My uncle had similar issues, bro is 62 and winning BJJ competitions again.
Admittedly he never stopped competing, lifting or training. But he’s swearing by his Joe Roagine treatments in terms of livability and capability.

Take it with a grain of salt though, as the same man suggested I take IVM+Methylene Blue+ another thing I’m forgetting to cure my tumors and heart issues
(Bro watch him be correct, I swear to god if I do this and my tumors shrink I’m gonna feel like such an asshole for talking shit. Because the worst thing that could happen is nothing. I might as well try it. It’s not like the doctors do anything but shrug shoulders and tell me in detail why whatever I have going on is an issue for any specialist who isn’t them. Brain tumor?” Bro see a neurologist who isn’t me. See your seizure neurologist. You fool. Go see a sleep doctor.
It can’t be fucking with your eyes. I only want to see you again if it’s about your carpal tunnel surgery”. ((All while five different specialists write detailed reports about how the tumor the size of a golf ball in the middle of my brain is indeed fucking my vision up totally and causing heart-issues). I feel you on wanting all that back and the frustrations that come with it. I hope what I’ve offered is feasible for you, and genuinely helps. I wouldn’t wish a fucked back on anyone - runs in the family. My mothers broken her spine by sneezing before thanks to similar treatment from her own specialists and a bit of her own stubbornness being a healthcare professional, herself.

We’re all gonna make it dawg, there’s no other choice. A subpar life isn’t life at all, it’s living in hell in a hell you allow. Don’t choose to live that way, find every silver lining to the point it boarders on delusion. Keep fucking fighting brother. Because remember, there’s always

WORSE YET TO COME.

>>
>>28876039
what bikes have you ridden fren?
I got a 125 and I'm looking for the ultimate daily city and food delivery motorbike but most options I think about seem like they would made my life harder
maybe the answer would be moving down to a 50cc 2smoke but that would be illegal to ride on the highway
>>
>>28876056
I'm the guy shilling supermotos a few posts up. I've ridden a DRZ, an XR, and my friend's FZ07. If I wanted the ultimate city commuter that can do short jaunts on the freeway, I would probably choose a used DRZsm or a WR250 like a couple anons were talking about last thread.
This guy has a whole series on his XR150L, and those are available everywhere I think.
https://youtu.be/uoVRtJyCoPk
On second thought, all of these would probably suck to be sitting on all day for delivery. The DRZ seat is a dang 2x4. Maybe a 390 or 690 duke or an MT07/sv650 would be the way to go. a light weight or middle weight naked
A two stroke 50cc would be super cool. I've never ridden one besides a moped, so I don't know how difficult it would be to live with.
>>
>>28876076
I've thought about a supermoto or dual sport, the riding position would be better for my back for sure but the big issue is the seat height and the wideness/ height of the bars
from my research an xt 225 would be shorter but they are kind of expensive
>xr 150L
that does look good too but not available here unfortunately and the xr 125 would be even slower than my current one, hmm
>Maybe a 390 or 690 duke or an MT07/sv650 would be the way to go.
these are all too heavy and big, except the 390 but I think it has a tall seat too
>50cc 2smoke
would be lighter, maybe narrower, maybe on par regarding performance with a 70+ cc cylinder but on the other hand yellow plate so not legal for highway riding (sometimes it's handy), maybe lower mpg, maybe higher turning radius depending on the model
>>
>>28876105
Hmm, that's a tough one then. I'm sure someone will be along with some good recs.

not saying it's a cure-all or anything but there is something there and it's not that expensive. do your research.

00s Japanese boomer croozer with expanded rear rack and box, these bikes are still plentiful and cheap, they're reliable and lots of torque but low top speed, I pull 8-10h work days on mine.
>>
>>28876076
>>28876105
Xt 225 is anemic. i've got a WR250R and i've been riding my friend's DRZ 400SM since he's storing it at my house while he moves. the WR has dirt tires and the DRZ has street tires, so it's not exactly apples to apples. i'm like right on the money 5'10". the WR is pretty tall but it's not a thing i think about ever. it's not a problem in my mind, i guess. maybe if i had a mobility problem, swinging a leg over the bike would be an issue. i like how the WR revs pretty high. the powerband is more interesting between the two bikes.
the drz is very smooth through the throttle. you don't have to wring it out so much. it just goes. which does make it more fun to goof around on. it's easy to wheelie.
the DRZ is noticeably lower. i can double flat foot it. i don't particularly like going on the interstate with either. there isn't much headroom at highway speeds. as in, it takes longer than you want to pass someone when you're already going 70. but if i have to jump on and hit the next exit, not really a big deal.
but around town and backroads and innawoods(!) they rock.
having had the chance to ride on the street tires, i'm very seriously considering buying a second set of wheels for the WR.

but if you aren't trying to do much offroad shit, and you want an upright seating position, man look for a DRZ SM. you can get one with a yoshi and probably a handful of other mods for $4000 all day. $3500 if you watch the market for a little while.

give me some pants recommendations.
i don't think i want to go with denim. i'm in the south and it gets mad hot. so i'm guessing either like cargo pants or like an ADV sort of thing. i feel like the pants market kind of sucks. there's a lot of choice with jackets.
what do you wear? where do you live? what do you think about it?

So you lied when you said they detected you at 67, they actually detected you at 80.
And the fact that you're losing your license over this means that you've done it a bunch of times before. It's only 3 demerit points.
Given the location (Laverton North) and the fact that it was a scooter, I'm guessing you're that weed smoking retard with the PCX and the NMAX. And based on your interior decoration, occupation, and lack of access to social services, you're probably Indian.

This is a silly and autistic question. I wear Perfectos and i understand that actual armor is above all. Anyways, im buying my first bike and im actually not a huge fan of chopper style bikes. I like dual sports and intend on getting one, but would i look retarded wearing a perfecto on anything but a chopper? Again, I understand a leather jacket will not be better than actual armor, so please dont reply with hurr durr get actual gear retard
>>
>>28876266
Even on chopper, its a bad idea and look retarded. That's because if you fall, you die. If you are set on wearing perfectos, just get a tech air 5 plasma and then you can look retarded and be safe at the same time. Go out and spread your retardation in the world.

sure these thing keep its price like gold but if you look at it from the buyer perspective

In at least 80% of crash videos I've seen, the crash can be clearly attributed to the rider's bad decision making. Mopeds, the ones with bicycle pedals will always be a bit sad. The little scooters are where the E-bikes are now. I saw a kid the other day with a kick scooter at about 20mph the other day. I'd do that but I'm a bit old to look good on one.

>you've done it a bunch of times before
yea well when you actually ride your bike for ten hours a day in a police state these things tend to happen. this is something you'll never understand because you don't even have a bike.
and you always mention jeets and accuse other people of being jeets, so you're either obsessed with jeets or (more likely) you doth protesteth too much because you're a filthy curry nigger yourself. please stand in front of a train.

e-scooters are nuts. They sometimes match my acceleration up to 50 km/hr on a 500cc. I dig the bimota/italjet double swingarm suspension on them, but they look like braking hard would tip you over the front. I'd imagine you would have to lean backwards really hard to shift your balance, and you would still end up doing a stoppie.
I once saw a guy doing a huge 45 degree wheelie on one for 20-30m straight through an intersection. I was in awe.

I am certain everyone here is around late 20s to early 40s mainly due to no one being hired out of college anymore so income isn't there for anything.
That said, most my peers are terrified of all and any traffic on the road still and half of them won't even drive more than 30min any direction.

is there an issue if i just wear mx boots all the time? i feel like a goober when i go into a store or whatever.
i've got a dual sport and most of what i do is in the woods. maybe 25% of the time i'll just ride around town. shifting sucks but it's also the only thing i've really known so i don't have a point of reference.

Thats on you
You should feel like a big boss and able to kick anyones nuts with ease, because you have ankle protection, so even if they had balls of steel, you would essentially win given enough stomps of the balls
Put your fears aside and wear mx boots all the time, but having a pair of stowaway shoes is easy to also bring

Crush your enemies with mx boots

As the weather warms up I noticed something this year after my first year of season riding:
>people are cautious and aware of bikes during the cold months
>people get increasingly stupider on the roads as the weather warms
This does not seem to have any connection to actual road conditions and instead is only connected to air temperature.

>Kawasaki KLE500. Thoughts?
Probably the worst motorcycle released in the last decade. Everything about it is pathetic.

The suspension is cheapest dogshit suspension possible. The engine character is laughable comparing to every other 450/500cc. The seating comfort nonexistent. The ground clearance is so bad it bottomed out in Kawasaki's own promo video (go check it out lol). It looks like it was designed and calculated by blind jeets, not by japanese gods. It literally has hand-sized wholes in the motorcycle because they combined incompatible frames and engines from their old stock. It weighs like a 800cc fully equipped adventure beast.

I can't remember a single motorcycle released in the last 10 years that is objectively worse than this, including chinese slop.

Appreciate your thoughts and prayers brother, you’re likely why I found the cheapest Ce02 in the states.
5 flat after some talk, that’s all tax tags plates and reg out the door + shipping.
>>
>>28877097
addendum after all else: It’s what I went with because of the price, wish I could’ve found lower but that’s always gonna include shipping because of everything else and anything reasonable that I was looking for is 2000 miles away.
If someone wants to gift brain tumor anon a base Naxeon I’m all for it, otherwise I don’t think I’m finding a better option.
I love you guys, take care of yourselves and be safe.

How to change my parent's opinion about me riding a motorcycle? They have absolutely no problem when I rent a scooter like picrel to ride around a town, but go absolutely insane when I mention I'm going to buy a bike. They also went ballistic when I announced I applied to a driving school.

My old man bought my a PW50 when I was 5. I bought 'my' first bike with cash (4k) when I was 16.
In my case, I suggested they go halves with me in a car if they didn't want me to buy a bike and they declined.
We talked it over in a very (very) one-sided fashion and eventually the dust settled.

My point is that if your parents cannot respect your decisions, they make their choice and you are left to make your own. I wont judge you. Your social and financial situation is probably different.
