As someone that doesn't like cruisers in particular, wanted say Bolt because it's easier to make someone ride with you who is hesitant if you have something that at least appears more comfy and doesn't go too far over the intimidation threshold. However I looked the bike up and most of them don't seem to have a seat for passenger. So that's an automatic disqualification I guess.

idk. i posted that at 1 am trying to wire it so I could go to uni today. today I find out my bodged wires run all the electronics except the ignition (sparkplugs) which I think must be trying to pull from the busted ignition (key) line.
not sure if it's the wiring harness or ignition itself but one of them has been intermittently dying, usually fixed itself after waiting or smacking it but a few days ago died again and seems permanent.
>>
>>28887300

You were coasting I am guessing.
>>
>>28887300
You over-reacted and overcorrected, you don’t twitch steer with a fork. It’s fine behind anything with four wheels, in fact it’s encouraged.

But on a bike? Bruh.
All you had to do was shift your weight to the right, go with the sway, ride it back to safety.

Think my fuel pump is crapped out. Started stuttering after hard riding in heat but recovered and was fine after cooling down in the garage for an hour or so. Then it started doing it after 30 mins of riding and barely got it home. Plug was white. Anyway replaced plug, checked for intake leaks, disconnected fuel piggyback, verified vents clear…thinking it’s the fuel pump
When it primes it comes out strong but almost immediately gets kinda dribbly
https://streamable.com/ol7wp0
What do you kings think? It should come out strong while priming right? Especially with no backpressure
wtf is the captcha holy shit
>>
>>28887388
Hows coolant?
>>
>>28887392
It’s good levels ok. no overheating though the fan was on some during the hard riding.
This stuff started happening after hard riding in warm temps. Has got worse over the last 3-4 times so much so that this last time I barely got it home. Even after sitting cool for hours it runs very poorly and breaks up with throttle so I think low fuel pressure
>>
>>28887398
Just to add this is trails and lots of 1st and 2nd gear, not a lot of air flowing around so fan is totally normal for that

Idk bros
The shoomerwife seems to only grift my hesrt and yamahas
If she was an attentionwhore, she would have more posts per capita than i do shoomposts
Im pretty sure God created men and women with restraint, but its the crucible of our failing moral conscience that created this scarcity as much as uphold the bitterness
We all just need some God time
So buy my bikes and ill go find a shoomerwife and convince her to teach me how to ride and ill be a pretend nobike who already knows all the moves
That way: when she sees i know all the moves, she will be blown away and be like
>i know just a yamaha that youll love to start on
And then ill go become a hasbike again; but on the proper timeline, the yamaha one, but then ill also crash and she probably wont like me anymore, probably trying to do something to impress some other nobikes but then she will assume it was because i waa trying to impress her (i wasnt/wont) but itll be too late for that
It wqs real in my mind though bros

>ring it out
oh believe me I do. all the miles on that bike have been abusive to some extent. think that's why the pump is dying early. fuel piggyback + sudden/huge fuel dumps for higher-gear wheelies + hard trail riding.

The fuck do I do, cheat the temp signal once it's up to the 70's? It's a known issue that running rich too long (at least my TL) on the cold map excessively dilutes the oil and accelerates issues.
When I first got it in winter10-5°C in the mornings), it wouldn't even get out of the cold map on the motorway.

It gets the job done, and I enjoy it immensely. If you are going to get one, avoid any and all 2006 models, there’s a reason they’re all cheaper. 2006 was a transition year so a lot of the parts are 2006 only and hard to acquire. Avoid the wide glides if you enjoy living. I would go either Dyna Lowrider, or Dyna SuperGlide. You’re going to want it to have mid controls, as well.

Before I buy a bunch of Urals and parts with the money I got from my Guzzi, is there any jap bike that might possibly hit the same spot as an Ural?
My main issue with japs is that I don't like the stylings of any of them, except old Rikuos, which are just Harley Davidsons.

There was that other harley shop in japland, zero engineering or whatever it was called that looked pretty neat, but they ended production and cost a fortune.

Yeah at a glance it looked like a Virago twin to me too, the virago in general is just larping as a harley with its shared crank pin and all.
That being said, only up to a 250 they are chain drive, the 525 was it and bigger are all shaft drive.
I've thought about a virago too, but I don't like their styling.

Looks almost as if you lost traction on rear wheel, tried to countersteer to balance which is fine, but then the front gave out too so the move turned out too sudden. I agree with one saying you you have to rely on weight transfer more where it's slippery but probably that wouldn't have saved you as you were already committed and leaned past the point of no return.

This 1990 FXRP served as a support vehicle for the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics. As such, the factory delivered it with the police speedometer, red and blue pursuit lamps, a siren, special saddlebags, and a Tour Pak with a rear strobe light. Normal FXR equipment included the fairing, front engine guard, tachometer, five-position rear shocks, dual front disc brakes, sprung saddle, heel-toe shifter, and floorboards. When the Archives received this motorcycle in 1998, it had 12,959 miles on the odometer. It is one of 592 FXRP models with fairings that the company manufactured in 1990.

Something interesting I’ve learned in this book is that when fed gov standardized the location of the shifter, the big twins were already left shift, and the sporster was right shift. They didn’t get the redesign done in time, so there are sportsters that just have a big linkage over to the shifter on the right

The other book has this to say
>…The Super Glide, as the FX designation suggests, was part Electra Glide and part Sportster. The FL series had grown larger and heavier through the years, as the Sportster was becoming lighter and leaner. Somewhere in the middle, between porky and piglet, there was ground for a big-bore sport/cruiser. Some riders would revise and reshape the Super Glide to suit their own pre-ferences, while others would be well served by the factory styling.
Something for most everybody.
The FX combined the 74ci ( 1200cc) Shovelhead engine and frame with the Sportster front end. The electric starter was omit-
ted, so a smaller battery was mounted on the right side. A European-style fiberglass seat/tail section was fitted, and a Sportster-type two-into-one exhaust system. The red, white and blue paint scheme reflected the current swell of patriotism in reaction to the Vietnam war. The new racing logo, a block numeral I in stars and stripes, decorated the top of the fuel tank.
Ads touted the FX as the "All-American Freedom Machine." The Super Glide weighed 560lb (254kg), only about 60 (27kg) more than a Sportster and some I50lb (68kg) less than the Electra Glide.
The concept was sound, although the boat-tail seat/fender was destined for early retirement. The prospect of European-style cafe racers achieving wide acceptance in the U.S. seemed at least a possibility in the early 1970s. But the Super Glide was hardly a backroads scratcher, and the tailpiece was over-sized to include space for a passenger. Set against the spare front end of the Sportster, the FX looked just like what it was - two different motorcycles. For 1972 the Super Glide had a standard rear fender, and sales began rising…

One of the tuning forks must be bent as fuck because the only qualilty thing about a yamaha is the quality of laughs one has when reading through all the recalls they issued out.

It's like they don't even try to have good quality control, at least they get the title of most recalls amongst any Japanese manufacturer so there's that. Props to suzuki for not dethroning Yamaha has reigning champion for most recalls issued.

Ironic considering Scooty the namefag used to shit up this general with his gay drama over a Korean twink he was in love with. Also kinda weird the namefag that the babytalk weirdo simps over was also a gay in love with an Asian twink. Now that I've thought about this, it's a weird coincidence.

I think we should just all move to Japan, and start a gaijin motorcycle gang, and our whole thing is just helping people, and farming mangos in the rural mountains of Japan.
So like we farm mangos during the day, run them at night, and we help people along the way. It was never about friends, but the mangos we farmed along the way.

Hondawhore almost sounds like it's a double whore - it has "hoe" and "whore" in it

Yamaha has nothing in common with the word whore.

Yamaha sounds more like "You're my heart", which is how you can refer to pretty much any female on a Yamaha motorcycle.

I would say nay. It seems well made and cheap, but IMO street bike needs at least twice as much power for it to be somewhat safe on faster roads. 350cc bike making borderline 125cc numbers is lame.
