Im preparing to leave society and live in the temperate forests of Patagonia. I know my chance of survival is slim but on the odd chance I make it, I will finally be fulfilled. That said I consent to dying, doing what I love.

Skills:
>Trained botanist
>8/10 in foraging skill points
>Chemist by career, capable of producing rudimentary medicine (simple extraction and standardization) using plant and animal remains.
>Master gardener of both native and creole plants
>Able to track wild animals based on knowledge of plant communities

What are somethings I need to learn and train before going? Learn how to build a waterproof encampment under an hour? Learn how to trap? Learn how to spear fish? Etc.

What should be my overall goal other than surviving?
>>
Surviving in the forest isn't hard but there's a lot of infrastructure you need, nobody can just walk into the Forrest and start rubbing sticks together. Nobody can build the infrastructure in time.

What you really want to do is buy a caravan, get a vacant block adjacent to the woods, get regular groceries, then try to reduce your dependence, spending longer and longer in the woods- but always being able to just walk back.

No you're not

Came here to say this.

OP, post coordinates of your camp so we can see your skelington on google earth as proof.

If you're asking 4chan what your "overall goal" should be "other than surviving" you are doing it for the wrong reasons and will be dead within a week or have some epiphany like 90% of the contestants on the Alone TV show and decide to come home

Good luck

I would survive

You're going alone because never in a million years could you get someone to go with you, even on a day hike.

I'm not reading all that, but you sound like a loser. Go be disingenuous somewhere else.

This mindset is so dumb.
If that were truly the case the human species literally wouldn't exist.
