Just picked up the REI Flash Air 1 tent from a gear sale for $10! What am in for and what should I expect?
>>2773106Looks like my old MSR Zoid.>what should I expect? At worst, a wetted-out footbox in your sleepingbag, from rubbing against the condensation on the wall/roof above your feet. They are a very good 1-man design, though, and if you don't move around a lot at night then you'll be OK.

why do people buy non freestanding tents
>>2773236Because trekking poles are good and you're a retard if you don't use them.
where do people get these deals what rei sale was that?
>>2773244If you use your pole to set up your tent, how are you supposed to hike to the latrine?>>2773248Members-only sales of returned stuff.
membership costs like 50 to 60 dollars so not really 10 dollars
>>2773244post knees pansie
>>2773412It's $30 but you get $30 off your next order if you buy something within a month.
>>2773106Condensation can be an issue on most single wall tents, but it’s really a factor of your location. Might want to seam seal it again.
>>2773106Buy an ad you faggot
>>2773629I would but I bought your mom instead
>>2773560Interesting.
>>2773106I've used the flash air. Single wall tents suck for condensation, so bring a small towel. Very light, but non-freestanding, so bring good stakes. Hope you got a footprint too
