mount rushmore is worth seeing. I thought it's one of the coolest monuments I've ever seen personally, I guess other people don't think it's that cool, but I definitely recommend it.

Yeah I'm gonna stop by it real quick and explore custard.
I'm mainly asking about badlands tho, thanks

Went last year, i enjoyed the cowboy hall of fame near one of the teddy roosevelt parks but SD was generally cooler than ND in my opinion. ND badlands were just more grassy than SD, but if the weather is nice it should be cool still. Great for seeing buffalo too. Custer was awesome too, if you have the time to take the hike to the watchtower you should.

badlands from what i remember are just a bunch of sandstone arroyos and gulleys, not really much to do except look at them. camping would be boring and most wildife spotting would be prairie dogs.
>>
Are there any good off-road trails there?

Which of these is the best?

Theodore Roosevelt National Park is pretty nice. I did some backcountry camping there for 3 days and had a great time.

this mostly. I enjoyed badlands, and you could probably knock out a few cool hikes there. It's an uncommon landscape. Maybe admire all the bison. It's not as grand or extensive as some of the other national parks and forests. Check out the black hills if you get a chance.

Enjoy Yellowstone Park!

The place is great

big horns are literally on the way between badlands and Cody

SD has the Casey Tibbs Cowboy Hall of Fame north of the grasslands.
>>2779541 besides birds there are also bighorn sheep, mountain goats, rattle snakes mule deer, and bison.

Enjoy the weird ass geography, it's very unique. Also make sure to go to the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site, it's a cool reminder of the background processes allowing us to live in peace to this day.

Also I would drive both Sage Creek Road and 240 in one loop from west to east, then go to the Minuteman site and head back west on I-90 to the Delta-01 launch facility for a guided tour if you're interested in /k/ stuff at all.

Sage Creek had a huge herd of bison when I went there and some good views of the badlands and 240 passes through a bunch of prarie dog towns and good overlooks, I would do both if your schedule allows for it.

Hit the Mexican food truck outside Cody. Great stuff for cheap. Stay away from the tourist restaurants downtown.
