what's a good recipe for a granola bar that doesnt care too much about heat nor cold outdoor. and that also lasts long, doesn't get moldy after a few days

Step 1: buy your preferred flavor of larabars

That's the whole recipe. It's cheaper, tastes better, and most importantly lasts longer than anything you were going to do in your kitchen.

that's boring though
bread is probably going to be more cheap when buying in the store over buying every ingredient yourself and electricity to heat the oven etc
but people still do it
because it's fun

Fuck bars, just mix up a granola based trail mix in a bag and eat out of it.

dates + nuts, pulsed in food processor
I do this all the time with dates cashew pistachio and chocolate chips. sprinkle salt on top. lasts a few months but I keep it in the fridge until needed. I add egg white or whey powder for nutrition if I have it on hand

I like just having a bag of cashews, hazelnuts, dehydrated mulberries, and oats. Just shake a bit into mouth and eat.
If your really set on a granola bar just buy them, the wrapper and preservatives are worth the extra 50cents you have to spend. I've tried making all types of granola bars and they just aren't as practical for through hikes.

I like dark chocolate, sunflower seeds, pepitas, cranberries and sometimes unsweetened coconut flakes.
