Why do so many people seem to like solo camping? Aren't there too many risks?
>>2785485risks include:>stub toe (owie)>burn finger in fire (not hotdog, do not eat!)>tent too hard to put together (like math, i hate it)>get lost (please not again)>get sucked by wild bear (whoa momma)>tummy ache when nobody around (i'm scared)>toilet paper break when wiping (EW)>forget what day it is (oops)>get abducted by aliens (apparently zenu is in a cartel)>deer won't stop looking at me in the dark (why it speak words?)>run out of food (so hungry)>water make me sick (i keep peeing brown out my butt)>it snows (brrrr)>it rains (i hate showers)

>>2785485Getting out of bed is a risk. Not getting out of bed is a risk. Get over it.
>>2785485Why do so many people seem to like to solo drive? Aren't there too many risks?
Being alone in the wild is kino, spiritual even
>>2785485can we just ban trans people from this board?
>>2785485this just in retard anime watcher doesnt know what a signal fire is
>>2785485>11 million people watched a girl solo camp for 30 minutesMust be a very good camper.
>>2785486>get sucked by wild bearI wish. Even bears don’t find me attractive
>>2785485>too many risks?Every risk you take solo is identical to risks you take with other people. The lone difference is that if you are hurt the others in your team can help you. Whereas solo you need to rely on comms to contact SAR or some stranger to help you.
>>2785485She's "camping" with a suitcase and the sound of cars in the background. This is as risky as walking your dog.
>>2785485I once spent 14 days solo in the BWCA and didn’t see anyone after day 2 and before day 14. 11 days with the only evidence of other people being contrails, satellites, fire rings, and trails that I could pretend were game paths. I had to paddle hard and move fast to get deep enough fast enough, to avoid other people, but I crossed perhaps 20 lakes that had no one else on them during that 11 day period.
>>2785485other people are unreliable.when you become an adult you find out that your school friends were only friends because you were forced on the same playground and both were bored to tears.now people do either/both:go to college and move away meaning your friendship is only digitaldedicate their life to the worship of a screen playing hunter: breath of the wild then joining youfamily is best shot whether you have one or make one. frens are convenience. you're blessed if you have good neighbors. maybe in idaho or in a time machine.
>>2785655>This is as risky as walking your dog.I walk my dog in Detroit. She's hanging out at some manicured campground campground in asia.
>>2785485I have no-one to camp with. One "friend" could go with me during warmer seasons, but I don't like him. It's better to just chill alone.
>>2785711My point exactly.
>>2785485Japanese camping girls owe me sex.
>>2785655They're all different girls you fucking racist.
>>2785655>sound of cars in the backgroundhighways attract serial killers, it's probably more dangerous than your average horsecamp innawoods way out in Wyoming/Montana
>>2785485 There's risks to everything including getting up in the morning to go to work. I like camping with friends but the peace and serenity you get from spending a few days or more by yourself innawoods is unmatchable. Amazing connection with God or nature or whatever else you want to call it. Other people distract you from it.

>>2785485I have never met someone who I'd consider trustworthy, tough, and reliable enough to go camping with.not like I'm super intense or anything but you can't take any risks if you're out there, like actually out there, far away from help and more than a day's hike from civilization. you need someone who won't be a liability if shit goes down.a few months ago I went on a hike with a coworker, it was short and a pretty easy trail, and the fucker left me behind for literally no reason as I stopped to look around with my binoculars. we were having a conversation and he just stopped talking and took off. I didn't catch up with him until I got to the peak. had no explanation, just "I knew you'd catch up eventually". I was dumbfounded.obviously I immediately knew he couldn't be relied on, and that experience kind of soured any chance I'd invite him to camp.also people who consoom those kinds of videos should be rounded up and put in labor camps
>>2785485>stop solo camping!!!
Mum thinks if I go solo camping a serial killer will get me.
>>2788415UK doesn't allow camping so DW about it
It's not camping if you can get there by car
>>2785486If you came up with that I laughed at a few so I hope you're having a good day
>>2786110>just "I knew you'd catch up eventually"Dude wanted to be alone for five minutes, instead of having to take care of a baby 24/7
>>2785543a scary thought, fills me with righteous dread
>>2785486lmfao
>>2785485Why does coom bait shit like this trend?Solo camping is the whole point of camping, to get away from the dread of everyday life in modern times.Find somewhere with no cell service, pitch a tent and enjoy the silence, catch and eat some fish.
>>2785485I love hiking and will happily spend all day in the great outdoors. But at night I want a real bed, a private bathroom a few steps away, and stuff to distract me in the two or three hours before bed. Camping alone is the most boring and lonely experience. I hate it. I still do it if the place I'm park I'm visiting doesn't have cheap lodging nearby, but man I still fucking hate it.
>>2785485nobody has friends these days. not even normies.
>>2785485Yea, I might get rayped by a wendigo posing as a japanese girl in tight leggings.
Solo camping is fine when men do it. When women do it, this is how it starts....
>>2789179Look how happy she is.This is 2 hours into her solo adventure.
>>2789180Soooooo fuuuunnnn3.5 hours into her female empowerment trip
>>2789181SLAY QUEEN!!! YAS!!
>>2789182>uh oh. it's getting dark and i am now lost because i'm used to depending on a man to route-find for me.....Hour #9 into her trip
>>2789183>whats going on. im so confused. why wont anyone come to my rescue
>>2789184>oops, i forgot a tent, sleeping bag and essentials because im a suck a ditz (men usually tell me "you're not a ditz" why is no one telling me it's going to be ok)
>>2789185>the world is a strange and confusing place
>>2789186>why wont any men save me? i usually get lots of attention from men
>>2789187>saved by men and back to getting attention on social media
>>2789188>she survivedlame
>>2789188>>2789179Did she actually survive for 8 days with no tent? That's pretty good all things considered. Surprised her battery lasted.
>>2789201You can probably find the story if you reverse image search the photos.
>>2786110>I knew you'd catch up eventuallyAnon, YOU'RE the liability, you stupid fat slow fuck
>>2785485I can't even go to the beach in the afternoon without getting mugged, much less camping. I wish I could go camping without risking murder or rape, be it solo or with someone else
