Hello anons,
I'm looking for a cheap (~100/120 euros) digital camera to ous when going /out/, preferably with a rechargeable lithium battery.

Complete noob in this field, what are you suggestions?

unironically, a phone
if you're looking to upgrade, get one with a good camera
you'll get more use out of it, and it'll save space too

how to cope with the built in microhpone being sensitive to wind? Putting a small sock over the tail end of my iphone when recording outside feels really retarded

You can get an external microphone with that fuzzy filter thingy for way less than 100 euros

Fuck camera elitists.

I am hella rich and REFYOOZ to spend munny.
NO, I will not spend 1000 on a lens
NO, I will not spend 2000 on a camera body
NO, I don't care what a DSLR vs Mirrorless is

I just want simple pull out, click, stick back in pocket

I will laff with glee as the camera industry dies due to filthy casuals like myself with our shitty cameraphones

FUCK CAMERANIGGERS

As long as you have a reasonably new smartphone, you'll get better results with that than a cheap digital camera unless you're looking for that CCD sensor look.
t. hikes with a dslrnosaur

at $100-$120 you're going to find anyting that works better than a modern smartphone.

At $300-$400 you can look at a used Sony a5100/a6000 series that will actually make a difference

phone camera beats out a lot of the dedicated gear unless you wanna do 360 video /out/door filming

camera enthusiasts, i currently have a gopro hero 3+, but need another camera for regular shots, I'm stuck with three options:

A: My iphone se 2020 that I use as my regular phone, however, the camera on it needs to be replaced for 70 bucks.

B: I still have my old iphone 7 with only a broken battery that can get fixed for 50.

C: Buy the replacement parts and fix it myself for cheaper, but risk fucking up my phone and also losing waterproofness.

No.
Dedicated gear is much much better when it gets dark.
Also, zooming in only works with dedicated gear. 16x digital zoom is nothing anyone desired ever.
