Because Schrade knives are steaming hunks of shit. AUS-10 in that price range? You just know its stamped, uneven ground chinesium that probably has a worse heat treat than most screwdrivers. The only knife of theirs that looks decent is their Steelhead flipper.
If you want a good knife, I suggest you get a Cold Steel. 5,5" of AUS10A, good heat treat, tri-ad lock that puts schrade shitblades to shame.
