Have you ever stealth camped before?

Not in a non-permissive environment, but I often backpack camp in NF with a camo tarp or no shelter at all, no fire, no lights, no sound.
>>
seems grim living in a country with no "right to roam" and a right to camp anywhere for a night laws.

how do you cope? just stay in your car and never aaaactually go outside?
>>

You cope by having the overbearing laws and removal from nature increase frustration throughout the whole nation leading to an eventual collapse of a sense of right and wrong.

t. from a country where sleeping outside is illegal

I camped on a little island thing next to a park on the river in my city. It was pretty fun, but I did miss shooting and hiking around like you can do with NF/BLM camping. I even dug a Dakota fire hole to keep my fire less visible, although even if someone saw it and reported me I doubt a city cop is going to hike into the woods at night just to bust a random hobo

Is it private land or just land you're not supposed to camp on?
>>
>>2795518
You go camping somewhere in the hundreds of millions of acres of public land available, if you don't live in the midwest.
>>
>>2795541
you can legally camp, not like out there with boomboxes, out of eyesight from a home, you go to bed at sunset and you are gone by sunrise, of course in the case you planned wrong things might differ.

but, just the simple societal impact it has, for it being natural for a traveling stranger to show up on your land, the the americlaps, where you will be met by a shotgun yes they claim they have the best nature.

Or the South, or East Coast

Y'know, there was a period I was hitchhiking across the country, sleeping under bushes. I was basically homeless. I just wait until dark, put down my mat and sleeping bag somewhere well out of the way and sleep. But I didn't think to glorify what I was doing with a fancy name like "stealth camping."

i cope by not giving a shit about the laws.
