Kind of funny how the entire PNW is lined with volcanoes from head to toe. The fault line is active as fuck and yet they claim most of the volcanoes are harmless even tho the last major eruption along it was just 40 years ago

Yeah this part of BLM got burned up pretty bad. The whole area is pretty thin until you get out of it

Yeah there are a lot of cinder cones and things. Crater Lake is about an hour and some change from where I live, it's a pretty good example of how destructive the volcanic activity can be. Up here where I've been hiking there is a lot of things like agate, black pumice, and esoteric and other examples of geographical and geological phenomena caused by volcanic activity. Here in Southern Oregon I think it's pretty inactive. Mt. McLaughlin is an inactive stratovolcano that hasn't shown any signs of activity for a very long time. Who know though where the next eruption will be, the Cascades cover a pretty large area
