Witch is the superior sleep system

No one

A sleeping mattress/pillow that actually crooks your neck/head up a little bit. Nothing is worse than sleeping totally flat.

I'm gonna bring a pillow, either q real one or the compact camping balloon, it sucks but I've slept on it for a month plus straight before and was fine
>>
Every single air mattress or pad I have gotten for camping always gets a hole or leaks air overnight until it's flat by morning, waking me up early to not being able to roll comfortably over, due to being directly on the ground.
Even the super expensive ones, even the ones people who say they've never had that problem recommend to me hearing this. I just do not think they're reliable whatsoever, especially in long-term camping. As such, yoga mats or the accordion mats are what I use now. I strongly prefer the accordions because they usually weigh a lot less and have a thicker cushion and better protection from the ground leeching your heat.
That said, the yoga mats are easier to manage and carry since they roll up rather than fold.

Both yoga matt's and the acordian egg foam ones suck, they are too thin to provide insulation or comfort

Then your option is to hope your inflatable mattress is just spontaneously one of the perfect ones that never deflate at all so you don't wake up in the middle of the freezing night with zero ground insulation or bring a car and put a mattress down. The accordion ones can be really good if you find the right ones, and the trick with yoga mats is to bring two and roll them into each other for a big roll. Downside is they're heavy like this.

Truly this is where hammock campers excel. I've personally slept on the ground so long I'm fine with a mexican blanket as a bedroll.

Brother I sleep on a $12 inflatable mat I bought at Aldi. You suck at clearing your tent site or you are a humongous fatty. I’m 6’3” 217 and my big ass still hasn’t popped it

you need to only blow it up like 3/4ths full you are blowing it up all the way and are amazed when you jump on it with your 300 pounds it pops, but seriously clear your site and blow it up like 50% and it will last forever
