I like the harsh shadows and how the handrail cuts across the image in a way that guides your eye throughout the photo. The there is also a nice symmetry with the shadows from left to right and the light from top to bottom, forming like 4 triangles. Very nice.

Anyone knows how to disable AI sharpening on the Google Pixel phones? Video looks great but photos are a mess, particularily when shooting patterns like plants, stone walls, etc. I can't find where to turn that shit off - looks awful

All the "good" camera phones (all worse than a sony rx100) like the vivo x100 pro and oppo find x7 are chinese spy-hardware and other disposable stuff. Add that to the damage imessage/facetime has done to your prospects of getting laid if you don't use an iphone (the WORST phones for photography, unless you have the taste of ken rockwell) and phone photography isn't really worth it desu. I usually skip as many phone upgrades as I can before there is 0 support but next time I'm just going to get a sony rx100 or ricoh GR and never pay attention to the camera feature on a phone again.
