Unless someone takes images similar to yours odds are you're not going to like them in the same way you like your own. 99% of the time you're just going to appreciate the technical production like nice colors, exellent composition, or great sense of timing. Honestly people on this board are a bit shit at photography. OP's not mogging anyone with this but I got some 1970s and 1980s Nat Geos and they do mog the fuck out of almost everything I see online. Documentarian but full of style and beauty. It's insane how fun it is to flip through them and just look at the photography. I genuinely think almost no one knows how to take interesting photos anymore (at least for nature, I don't seek out much other photography). Is this a side effect of digital? You might want to try setting exposure compensation down -1/3 or 1/2 stops. You can stretch the highlights back up in curves later if you need to. That's generally all that's needed to get good images out of most digicams. (by default they produce bright pics that pop off the Facebook page)
