I won't list absolutely everything because over nearly two decades there's been a lot of shit I've bought that I don't use anymore and I could have sold. So this is basically my current line up, although the manual lenses are rarely used and could conceivably be sold and I also have a couple others knocking around somewhere that I could use but probably never will (28mm Nikon shift lens and a CZJ 135mm). I also don't really need a second body.A7 Classic - £500 with the L bracketA7R III - £900 with the L bracketRX100 IV - £425 with the grip55mm f/1.8 - £26016-35mm f/4 - £350Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro - £130Sigma 150-500mm - £260Pentax 50mm f/1.2 - around £300 I think, it was so long ago I don't have a record of itSamyang 14mm f/2.8 - £225LA-EA4 with monster adapter - £330LA-EA3 - £145Godox TT350S - £70Amaran HC100 ring flash - £60 or soBluetooth remote - £30Wired remote - £20Giottos 9361B and Triopo NB-3S - probably around £150Manfrotto Pixi Evo - £40Memory cards, batteries, filters, and maybe some other small bits - say £150So that all totals to £2520. I think I've done alright for the money, a lot of it was used off Ebay that I got good deals on. If I was to get rid of the A7 and the two manual lenses I could probably get back around £750. I have considered getting rid of the Tamron 90mm and LA-EA4 and getting the Sony 90mm instead for not much more money, but I like having the option of screw drive A mount lenses in the future.

I bought a Herman Miller Aeron to complain from which made me feel very mid-30s. >>4305338>>4305339It’s my profession yes, but also my hobby. Just an all consuming passion. Yeah it’s many many lower priced items over the years. Buy, sell, trade up, trade down. One year my apartment got robbed, some cash of my girlfriend’s was taken, but I had my equipment insured so I claimed it (even though it had been on the trip I was away on while getting burgled), and was paranoid about keeping it all, so I sold the lot and bought new kit.Favorite gear of all time? My D700 was a trooper. Put about 600-700k frames on it over 10ish years, even replaced the shutter both times it failed. Eventually gave it up because the files were just too small and I wanted a backup card slot. Ricoh GR, every incarnation has been great. Lens wise I’ve had so many favorites. The Nikon 50mm f/1.2 AI-S is great, I’ve had two of them. First one was burned in a fire. The Voigtlander 40 f/2 ultron is a supremely nice feeling lens, small, produces great results, I used it throughout Asia and loved the results. I use lots of different focal lengths but gun to my head, I could probably downsize to just a 28 and 50 and be totally content. I’d say my current kit is my favorite ever, 2 Z9s, the 14-30, 50 1.2 GM, 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8 and a 2X teleconverter. It all fits in one case, gives me everything from ultrawide to supertele, I can even fit a MBP and two speedlights and a variety of filters. Feels like a very versatile powerful package.

>>4305078it happened 2 years ago and i spent around 16-17 grand total (i think) - and that was also my first ever experience with a camera (i didnt even own a digishit before)i think i even made a post about it>a7iv>35mm GM>55mm 1.8 >85mm GM>135mm GM>a big aluminum hard case for those 4 lenses and cam>gitzo bag>gitzo wrist strap>random expensive carbon fiber tripod>random cheap chinese strobe set (3 stands+3 strobs+3softboxes)>3 extra sony z batteries>some random expensive as shit cards for the camera>camera and lens cleaning and maintenance set>battery powered bi-LED light>the grey thing sheet for testing white balance>some expensive as shit tricolor cotton backdrop>sd card reader>battery chargerthe idea was me getting everything i needed to start doing portraiture/fashion/editorialsthe reality was my country being so shit that nothing except weddings and commercial bullshit is worth doingthe conclusion was; photography is not worth shit in my country and now its just me selling all of my gear for almost 50% of the price i bought it for, in hopes i can at least get some of my money backmoral of the story is; always triple check the current state and worth of photography and photographers in your country, before spending a single penny on photo gear
>>4306686oh yeah, i also bought an asus proart laptop for the whole GREATEST IDEA EVER autismo spree, i completely forgot about that oneso add another 3.2k to the total money spend
>>4306686That's every country. Actually, my sister's wedding photographer went on to shoot fashion. If you're good and you can handle the bs it's not a bad way to start doing portraits.
>>4306690thing is i wanted to (and still do want to) avoid doing weddings by any means possiblehave a bunch of friends who quit photography altogether, after 1 or 2 or many years of doing it, because of wedding related bullshit and stress
