I feel like I am looking at a Renaissance painting when I look at this photo.
I wonder, do we subconsciously make the connection to renaissance art when looking at sports photography or does the photographer envision it as such when shooting instead of just spraying and praying?

>>4305435These moments happen so quickly that photographers are often not able to frame things with intent as you describe, at least not in a “staging the scene” sense. But a good photographer will have “an eye” for framing and making things look good/stand out instinctively. I know /p/ gearfag no photos hate such un-quantifiable explanations but it is what it is.
