What books does /p/ recommend?
>>
>>4321618
For life?
'Revolt Against the Modern World' and 'The Hero with a Thousand Faces'.

For Photography?
The manual for your camera
>>
>>4321619
For photography of course. The manual will only tell you how to operate the camera, not how to become a good photographer, just like reading a car manual won't make you a racer.
>>
>>4321619
>>4322060
skip the manual and get one of these bad boys
>>
>>4322060
the only thing reading will make you good at is reading
>>
>>4321618
The bible
>>
The ones you have with you.
>>
Ansel Adams' trilogy: the Camera, the Negative, and the Print even if you're not into film because it's important to understand the fundamentals of your discipline
>>

Experience retard. Nothing else will help you

I'd recommend photos of nature that is if you're asking for a book about the 'how tos' and 'whats'. Have you ever heard of the photo artist 'Ansel Adams'? His photographical art is dull and boring and bland for a very important message: Art is simply dying. Much of his art yes did sell since he is very almost abnormally famous because of the real and genuine messages he'd get across through them.

"There is a fine line between the natural stationary and artificial worlds." - ???

The picture I've taken was actually done earlier today. From my perspective as cluttered and boring as it looks I get a sense of relaxation awe and dainty rumination. It would look great with a decorative medium brown frame to it.

A really good one got posted here a few months back about how to create photography projects. It was basically just a discussion between 2 photographers written as a book.
I can’t remember its name, does anybody know?

I've seen these recommended a lot. What are your main takeaways from each of those books?

Thats it, this is the only book to read OP.

Start from page 28 as the intro is pointless. Here is a link to it online for free. The most useful book you will ever read on photography.
